The weird thing is thought is this, they announced on Christmas Day 2 players and 2 staff had Covid, which is fair enough but why no more announcements by them? They don’t even need to say names just numbers.
In City statement they could of easily said x amount of staff/players have tested positive

You've got a Chairman havent you.. or at least some sort of gilt edged Chief Executive. Its usually a matter of protocol to pick up the phone and speak... mutual respect peer to peer. Its got absolutely nothing to do with wanting City players to turn up, us beat them but they then pass the bug on. Just good manners. Don't think it was a loaded statement aimed at city but more a dig at the PL for not even letting the club now what was going on, so the 2000 fans attending (who had also gone and had covid tests to help stop the spread of it) could have been told by the club first and not through other sources and the club not knowing
