Did you see them against Newcastle they were poor, I reckon we had a good chance missed the boat imo

Mate, Tosun was going to start up top

We'd both played 46 hours before the planned game. We'd have been on our arses - they would too, but they have Sergio Aguero to call on, not Tosun.

Aguero not fully fit ,they've not been great and we've been pulling good results out the bag in the league. Next time we play them they might be back to the form we know. I don't think they would of broke us down, would of got a least a point maybe 3.

I honestly believe the game was called off for safety reasons mate. City will be well aware of the problems they will face with future fixture congestions. The outbreak may be so bad that the New Years day fixture may also need cancelling, and will be exacerbated if they win their league cup semi final and have a decent run in the FA cup, neither of which is improbable. A couple of seasons ago I think Arsenal had to play 6 games in something like 11 days and City's pile up could be even worse.

Add this to the fact that we were without 5 key players amongst others, and we needed to rest at least 3 or 4 more. They could have been without 10 or 11 players and still put out a comfortably stronger team than us. I do believe that the cancellation will work to our favour.

Still doesn't explain why neither they nor the PL have been more forthcoming on the detail front. The fact that they still haven't disclosed the figures just proves to me that the club were stonewalled when they asked for the information initially, and why they had to go public with their statement. And now we're getting pilloried for it in some sectors.
Of course it was.

The PL should have been transparent with Everton. That's daft that they weren't. But the right call was taken.

Next time we play them we should have Digne, Allan and James back.

Well, there we have it.

Compare and contrast the reactions of Tottenham and Everton. Tottenham have the decency to wish Fulham well. Everton called for a "full disclosure" from the Premier League with no word of good will to City. Speaks volumes.

And the knuckle draggers amongst you want a fight. Is that the level of debate on here? Yeah, stay classy, eh.

Everton should have been provided the full information.

That's not on City, it's on the PL. If you read the statement, then we asked the PL for that.

Btw, absolutely the right decision was made to postpone the game. And it worked, as City have had no further positives, so they've managed to isolate the outbreak.

City fans are proper a spoilt bunch of pansies, Jesus christ. Everton wanted clarity on the situation which is perfectly fine considering they weren't in contact at all and the game got called 4 hours off before kick off, Now cry back to Blue Moon calling us every name under the sun you two faced clown.
