I'm sort of the opposite. I think we should be tougher at board level and if it was the other way, a forfeit would be getting discussed.

At least with no forfeit the principle has ben established though.

As usual with the PL they bend over to help the big 6 and it hasnt been handled well.

If Klopp hadn't behaved as such an utter d1ckhead over the last few months, we could have a proper discussion on the schedule.
'The crying cat gets the most cream' - 100% fact of life that we ignore to our own detriment.

Scott Dann scored his annual goal too didn't he
I think so just after half-time. I remember that their first and last goal were both really good finishes on the break with clever football in and around the area.

The more I think about it, I think that game may have been part of the reason why we eventually bought Bolasie as he took us apart.

Wasn’t it just after we’d beaten utd and Arsenal too, then blew the whole thing by losing at Southampton, scoring a couple of og’s in the process

Alcaraz and Coleman. The first was within a minute of kick off, I think.

Not sure if this has been discussed, but BeIN sports reporter at Goodison now just said that Premier League initially refused City’s request to postpone the game as it did not meet the criteria of a postponement, but changed their mind after City claimed they were “fearful for the health and safety of the Everton and their own players”....
And a brown envelope.

Makes you wonder why the Premier League insist that teams publish a squad. Surely City have enough negative players to field a team and subs.

Correct. Would anyone want them coming here if their club was riddled with it? No and I doubt they would want us going there if it was the other way around.

Correct decision to postpone

It was a stupid rule to be fair.

These players tested negative on xmas day, yet 2 days later tested positive. Say they did field a team that all tested negative today but tomorrow morning or wednesday a load more who played us then tested positive. If its rife in the club they need to shut it down and contain it

Frustrating, and the process to reach the decision stinks of corruption, but the right decision.

We'd be postponing a lot more fixtures if we contracted it from them. That happened a lot in American college football this fall. Granted, that game is much further toward the "contact sport" end of the spectrum.

That would drive more wrong behaviour. The pressure would be for clubs not to report.

Yes, that. There's too much riding on the trophy, top 4 and especially relegation.
