It didn’t get postponed, the season was ended entirely.

In all likelihood, City have had another 3 test positive...these 3 will have had close contact with rest of the squad, so it's only reasonable that the remainder of the squad now all self isolate until they can all be further tested...

But for the same reasons, Newcastle players will have likely been in close contact with these players aswell 2 days ago, so that puts their next game against liverpool in question
Liverpool will insist its off until VVD is back

We should have just been the gentleman and rolled with this, COVID is fkin COVID.
You watch the media machine fkin tear us apart now and our club go into hiding.

I don't really get the anger on either side/from either fanbase.

It's 100% the right decision for the game to be called off. Scheduling aside, there's been eight positive tests in their camp in the last four days.

There doesn't have to be any 'punishment' because in all likelihood, nobody has done anything wrong. A player/staff member could have gone to the shop and caught COVID. They could be false negatives. It could be a family member who has caught it. There are so many factors that we don't know about.

The issue isn't with City, it's with the Premier League making the decision without consulting Everton. That's all. So Everton are right to ask for the information which was provided - because if it was done properly, then they would have seen the information first.

Anyway, it's far better for us.

The point is there isn't any consistency. City made Bristol play their youth team in a women's match a week ago. City had no issue playing newcastle when they had positive tests.

It's good drama mate. I've pretending it's more annoying than it is hoping a storm keeps brewing about it. We look victimised in this it's all good moral boosting stuff too.
