They can't really win, people have far too strong opinions about this both ways.

My instinct is that the majority of the population would support postponement though. Social media isn't reflective of real life.

if the games go ahead as they should it doesn't really affect people that don't want them to go ahead though, they can still sit in their darkened room doing whatever it is they expect other people not fussed to do.

Hope it's called off, quite frankly we should be focusing on more important things than watching football matches at the moment, those more important things being allowing us to recover from injuries obviously, fantastic bit of luck for us to be going into Arsenal in 3 weeks with Pickford fit and Dom back and ready too.

They will get a backlash whatever happens because the opinions on both sides are way too extreme on this. There's no right or wrong here, because no one has experience in this situation, so I think people need to just accept whatever the decision is. The best thing they could do at this point is be decisive and make a decision one way or another.

What are they shocked that the government guidance is not definitive? Did they expect there to be a ban on football this weekend or something and people would get punished for playing sport?

It was always going to be up to sports governing bodies so they need to take responsibility and make decisions
