When the Pope John Paull II died in 2005 all football games in Italy got cancelled. He was neither Italian nor sovereign

Just a mark of respect, she was longest reigning British Queen and 3rd longest among all monarchs in history i believe (behind Sun King Louis XIV and Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph i think)

I'm fine with the decision to postpone but I think your comments are a bit unfair here. I've got plenty of important things in my life thanks, but I've made plans around going to this game (and spent a fair bit of money) and it's a bit of a pain that it's now not going to happen. I'm also aware that some people haven't actually got much going on in their lives, and football gives them an outlet and maybe even a social life that they otherwise wouldn't have. I'm not sure you really need to get on your high horse and tell everyone else their life is rubbish because you're not bothered whether Everton play or not.
Where have I said everyone elses life is rubbish?
Apologies if it's come across this way.

I gave an example of myself and myself only.

This isn't about not being bothered about us playing it's about being ok that ALL games are off.
If it was just us then I would have a problem with it.

True.

But whatever you think of the Monarchy the Queen served for 70+ years and was still serving her duty right up to her passing.

That’s something I will admire about her even though I’m not much of a royalist I think some respect is due for her regardless
Don't get me wrong. As monarchs and monarchies go, looking back through history she was clearly a good one, but other people have duties too and perhaps the major efforts over the last number of years to boost women's football to great success is greater in importance than the death by natural causes of a woman who lived a long life. The Queen was for promoting women's issues too. Who knows what she would prefer to happen this weekend.
It is possible to respect her life, mourn her death and continue to focus on other things of importance to many. They are not mutually exclusive states

Second, behind Louis XIV (625 days less reigning)

Just beat The Thai King Rama IX by 88 days

I'm Welsh mate I literally don't want to be in a certain 'nation' you mention.
So yeah I just can't respect it. I respect her family have experienced loss and they should have a funeral, quietly as should any other family
You don't want to be part of a nation, i guess you don't use the NHS or any of the other services like free education (up to a point)? All I'm saying is that belonging to a nation has its drawbacks that we have to suck up and tolerate sometimes. A game of football, a game, A GAME is being delayed to another date for the first time in god knows how many years. Try being this vociferous about the pointless international breaks that happen regularly if you don't like being deprived of fun.

Looks like amateur games will be postponed as well following communications from the FA. Because 22 blokes kicking a football around, or watching 22 blokes kick a football around, is a mark of disrespect to Her Majesty The Queen.

They want us to stay at home, sit in silence and cry all weekend.

God save the King

A no relegation season because???
Iam expecting the postponment of this weekends Premier League Fixtures , also the 17th,18th of Sept.
This is of course correct and should happen, the 17th Sept the likely date of her Funeral.

Everton will not have played a Premier League match anyother competitive match until i think its the 1st Oct.
The International break.??
We then only have seven weeks i think before we break again for 5/6weeks.Starting the Premier League on Boxing.

There is no way the toughest, most competitive Football League in the World can be considered fair and competitive under these conditions.

The Premier League authorities will try to force an unreasonable number of games onto teams.
With some teams in European Competion, others in knock out Cups FA Cup, Carabo Cup the League will be impossible to complete fairly.

The consequences of relegation for the three bottom clubs beyond calculation the Premier League must consider a NO RELEGATION SEASON.For a team like Everton the conequences could ve so dire, we must present this proposal.
No, European football to keep us sharpe, the asked to play every three days or so, fit in with European Football fixtures.
When Evertons admin, Manager , ect look at oir situation we must argue for a NON RELEGATION SEASON.
