Let’s be honest here all games are off because the RS are at home and after their performance during booing the national anthem at the FA cup, the PL do not want to tarnish the RS reputation when it would of happened again this weekend in front of the world.

If next weekend is called off too at least it gives Pickford, Doucs, Holgate time to get fit

I suspect only the 2 x Sunday London fixtures will be postponed due to policing commitments.

Our game and Leeds will probably go ahead.

I have no idea but rumours were the entire slate of next weeks fixtures are off too we shall see. On the plus side it gives us less games without Pickford

It was a totally unnecessary and sycophantic decision by the FA to cancel the weekends football.
But large parts of the country are also engaged in a toadyism competition cancelling events people have organised and looked forward to attending.
There are ,though, many who have avoided this outbreak of obsequiousness and gone ahead with their plans regardless, it’s a shame the football authorities did not do the same.
It feels like we are living in Gormenghast, the whole structure is rotten and needs razing to the ground and rebuilding from the foundations up.

I'm starting to think the rationale behind cancelling these games is the lack of police presence. Cricket and rugby can carry on as normal because their fans are civilized compared to the football fans, who are known for being violent.

Look at issues with policing and that I think all matches will be off again.

The PL and their empire building are the reason we are left without matches. That suits us as we know right now, but the next round of games will almost certainly be off too.

This is a commercial decision from the biggest sports body in the world outside FIFA and the Olympics. Like them they are highly political.
