If somehow Sanders became POTUS it would be a sensation. Imagine how much the goalposts would move here in Britain, a true left wing socialist as President who has already gone on record praising Jeremy Corbyn.
The bookies have Clinton as short as 1/10 to win the Democrat nomination, sadly I think they might be right. As much as I would love Sanders to get the nod I just dont see it.
On the Republican side I think Trump has to be taken seriously, he's been out in front in most polls for a while now. Surprised Carson in one or two has polled above Trump, Bush and Rubio. He's so boring, lacks that X factor needed to be President, I suspect he'll fall away in the coming weeks.
One time favourite Jeb Bush is also dead in the water IMO, the reduction of campaign funds suggests even he believes his chance has gone. Rubio presents by far the biggest opposition to Trump, watching the recent GOP debate he was decent but not outstanding, when they scale down due to drop outs from 10 candidates on stage to 3/4 I think he may struggle to contrain a Trump onslaught.
Im going for Trump vs Clinton. What a blockbuster that race would be.
