Most definitely, but it's not just in the east. Dresden is really a tourist hotspot, thus higher prices. Capitalism is nowadays also a thing in the former GDR.

They said there was no official closing time in Dresden and seemed pretty mellow about playing host to Blues arriving on Thursday.

Dresden is a very impressive city although it is very humid and very warm at the moment.

Bleedin' hell more expensive than darf sarf! Let's hope the weather is nice and warm and we can get our cold beers from the supermarket (not Aldi like in Nürnberg ffs) and enjoy them by the river!

Been up and down for a while now. Where I live over here it's been rainy one day, then 28 / 29 degrees the next, or even on the same day. Crazy weather. Should clear up for the weekend!

I just red on the Dynamo Dresden website, that there will be no draw possibility. In case of a draw, there will be a penalty shoot out. lol :Blink:

It's a cup, suppose they've got to decide who goes through to final and who doesn't.

Just finished packing, on the 11:15 from Manchester to Amsterdam, then Ams to Dresden, arrive around half 5 german time. Only got back from Milton Keynes 2 hours ago after yesterdays match and Whipesnade Zoo... Big week!

Flying to Berlin at ten to three from Dublin. Collecting car and picking up 3 mates off the Friday morning flight and driving down. Looking forward to drink food and watching the blues.
