oh, and for all those who claim Stones can't defend and his positioning is crap, he's saved us about five times in this match so far...

Also, we really are going narrow in terms of defending. Once we get accustomed to it it'll be fine I think, but atm both Coleman and Baines struggling a bit.

Well some people go a bit overboard on the criticism but using his performance in a preseason game against Dynamo Dresden as evidence of his defensive prowess is a bit odd.

Got to admit that he does try and dominate his box which is a plus, A goalie that can read the flight of the ball to enable him to make his mind up whether to stay or come is invalueable and will save us at least 5- 10 goals a season. He seems to do the simple things right. So far I am quite impressed with him

We haven't had a solid keeper in 2 years. Early days but it's looking hopeful.
