she would not get a warm welcome on merseyside especially from from anyone who left school in the early/mid 80's and discovered that she had put up a "for sale" sign, on our home town.

bruce you are from a different area and era. up here we were permanantley [Poor language removed] on and only in the last few years have began to try to get back on an even keel.

i really wish the IRA had got the bitch in Brighton. she played with the futures of a generation that i was part of, all her bright ideas (£26.50 a week slavery) had an impact. as someone said (nebiolo i think) she treated us with total disregard, it wasn't just Liverpool although it seemed to take the brunt of it all, it was the whole of the north west. so to be a school leaver at that time in this area was not good propspects wise.
we are now paying out to foreign countries for water, electricity, gas. our railways were handed out to companies who didnt invest yet creamed the profits.

i hope she starts to rot long before she reaches hell.

Quick check poll. Are most Americans happy with this dude? Regardless of race he always came across to me as if he talked a good game, he got votes because of his race, that nobody will question, but hopefully every1 will look past it and give him a chance.

He looks like hes gonna be fun and i cant see him taking any crap, unlike the jellyspined clown we got in charge of our country, bring back Blair.

I don’t find it distasteful but I do find it out of bounds. We make it much more complex than it really is. Judges have a job that is defined – to make rulings in light of the constitution. The constitution being the elegantly simple document that it is, keeps the powers of the three branches of government separate. Allow me to follow your ending paragraph as an example.

Should an American citizen have the right to bear arms? Yes. It is in the constitution.

Does it apply to all any arms? Yes. The constitution does not prescribe the types of arms that may be owned.

To go further…. Should the right to bear any type of arm be limited? Perhaps, but it should not by limited by the federal government. Since the type of arms is not prescribed in the constitution, it is a matter for the states to decide. If Kansas wants to limit sales of automatic weaponry or to limit sales to convicted cattle rustlers, the state can generate their own laws for the good of their people and with their approval.

You may find it particularly distasteful but the branches of government have their separate purposes and powers. But the simple fact is that the judiciary shall not legislate. In the example above, the system evolved without the judiciary’s involvement. This is the intent of clearly delineated powers. The excuse given for a living constitution is the false assumption that society will not evolve without judicial creep. Not so. Legislators can still create and shape laws and do so all the time. It may be politically expedient to circumvent the legislative process but it is not right. Loose constructionist; however, have used a climate of judicial activism to their benefit, short-cutting the efforts necessary to gain consensus through the people’s representatives and legislation.

The system becomes dysfunctional when one part assumes the responsibility of another. Just as the blues would suffer should Hibbert or Yobo decide to play part-time striker while on the pitch.

He seems to much of a pansy to fight the terrorists imo, at least Bush just didn't give a [Poor language removed] and went steaming in, guns blazing, i can see Obama being too much of a girl.
