Proposed changes to the Premier league

I think we probably need to accept that some reform is happening - and whilst we might not *like* some of it, it's probably worth the other 14 sides working out what are the show-stoppers for them and what they may be prepared to accept.

Very well thought out response.

Apparently they decided they weren't prepared to accept any of it. Hopefully, representatives from the 20 clubs can find some common ground. There are things that clearly need doing.

So according to The Athletic, Utd and Liverpool have been meeting secretly with Parry for 3 years working on this.

The arrogance is just... astounding.

2017: Our master plan is ready now we sit and wait for the perfect time to release our plan codenamed "Big Picture to bag us all the cash and control" when all the clubs are on their arses.

2020: PL tells K'off to United and Liverpool and the yanks behind you.

Karma.

I was actually worried we might not.

Say what you want about Moshiri, but he could have pocketed ~£250m back from the cost of the stadium if this went ahead, and he clearly gave DBB approval to tell them to shove it.
He does things the right way does Moshiri, he knows fans and the community are the lifeblood of what he owns! He wants to make us great again but not at the cost of our soul which is why we’re all buzzing right now!
We’d be buzzing anyway the way we’re playing but we’re doing it whilst still being Everton, not evcorp.

Both humiliated at the weekend.

Both humiliated today.

Neither would apologise.

Tossers is my considered opinion.
It would be nice to see a national movement to have crowds (whenever) simply endlessly boo man u and the rs throughout games for having this outrageous idea.

A month ought to do it.

"Everton chief executive, Denise Barrett-Baxendale, demanded an apology from Liverpool and United, who were represented by Tom Werner and Ed Woodward, club chairman and executive vice-chairman, respectively."

Damn straight.

Nice to see Everton come down on the right side of the fence on this.

”The FA chairman, Greg Clarke, spoke out strongly at the meeting against Parry. Significantly, the other members of the Big Six – Tottenham, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal – are understood to have stayed silent, which was surprising to some clubs on the call.”

Probably not so surprising when you come to think of it.

City and the three Cockney clubs know this would only be the beginning.

And that a further power grab a few hears down the road would see these two despicable clubs downgrade their status as well.

I'm surprised we've done that - we normally just meekly do nothing.
