Fine both teams £125m,relegate them to the National conferance,promote other teams up

I know that from a personal perspective, we would probably love that above others but there's a line that the FA, the Prem, and the other teams need to draw 'in the sand' here. If there isn't a punishment that would make the likes of Henry and Glazer think twice then they or those like them will try it again at some point. Relegation would not be unprecedented, look what happened to Rangers.

I was actually worried we might not.

Say what you want about Moshiri, but he could have pocketed ~£250m back from the cost of the stadium if this went ahead, and he clearly gave DBB approval to tell them to shove it.

He will see Everton back at the top without resorting to chicken feed payments (which that is in the grander scheme of things), to see that shower of RS get more power.

They know they are under severe pressure now the longer this pandemic lingers.

Hopefully it will see both red machines crumble into the mid table pack. Would love to see that happen

I always thought the EL/CL entry was an invite from UEFA. The individual countries decide who can be invited via league/cup placings, but ultimately, its an invite. Its why UEFA can remove an invite due to FFP etc etc.

Sommet legal folk can argue about I guess.

They are bad freaks. They all come across as customers that don’t go the game so would love a super league so Liverpool got loads of money an they could watch there team play the best teams in the world comfy from there couch.

It was a different problem but I was getting at the outcome going to a vote with the clubs voting they get relegated to the bottom league. Seems the SFA only wanted them to drop down one division but the clubs had different ideas.

The SFA and SPL had offered a reorganisation of the structure if Rangers were placed in Division One, but a majority of SFL sides intimated before the ballot that Rangers should start in the bottom tier of Scottish football and 25 of the 30 clubs voted in favour of such a measure.

SFL chief executive David Longmuir said: "The member clubs of the Scottish Football League have today voted to willingly accept The Rangers Football Club as an associate member of the Scottish Football League.

"Furthermore, the Scottish Football League's only acceptable position will be to place Rangers FC into the Third Division of the Irn-Bru Scottish Football League from the start of this season."

Rangers relegated to Third Division after vote

Rangers newco will discover on Friday whether they will be playing in the First Division or Third Division of the Scottish Football League next season.
