Proposed changes to the Premier league

I really do believe there should be a salary cap for EFL teams. Fail to meet it, then tough. No promotion. Simples. Time for the club's to think about being sustainable.

I really do believe a change is needed throughout football in this country, including brining Celtic and Rangers down. But the first port of call must be club's lower down must not be allowed to be loss making.
No problem with them making losses if the owner guarantees those losses and pays them in full every year

Wenger also questioned why RS and Utd would vote against their own proposal - but he also highlighted the likely conspiracy with the other 'big 6' - obviously Arsenal, Spuds, City and Chelsea. Cowardly but silent quislings. Boot them all out for a season.

I think what it may do is trigger the PL to further lobby the government to allow fans back.

The PL will rightly say 'your asking us to help them but we're losing millions too. Help us so we can help them.'

So, are we now in the phase where every nob head who's been involved in football creates a manifesto or puts forward their proposal for change? The premiere league need to get a grip on this or they'll lose all credibility.

The EFL have refused that offer, as the dumb Sherman’s put a 25% share of PL TV rights in exchange for the soul of the league on the table. It should be noted that the cash they put on the table wasn’t theirs like, they were offering up over half of the cash of the lower placed PL sides, whilst theirs stayed virtually unaltered, but anyway, they set a level of expectation.

Exactly ,they set a level so let them suffer the same percentage loss as the rest of the PL

Given the government has just put the majority into lockdown measures, primarily in places where football clubs are based, you can imagine the chances that football fans are going to be allowed back!

Essentially yes.

I saw him proposal. Full of platitudes and woolly phrases. Stuff like "engage the fans" "explore solutions for debt" "look to grow revenues". Nothing of substance. We can all write a few buzzwords.
