I saw him proposal. Full of platitudes and woolly phrases. Stuff like "engage the fans" "explore solutions for debt" "look to grow revenues". Nothing of substance. We can all write a few buzzwords.

Neville should have played for the RS he is such a Gobshite. Is there anything he hasn’t got an opinion on?

I mean there is that. But it's a massive can of worms. Oh yea Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and London etc is all shut down, but we can go back to football. They will be sued into oblivion.

So, are we now in the phase where every nob head who's been involved in football creates a manifesto or puts forward their proposal for change? The premiere league need to get a grip on this or they'll lose all credibility.

I actually like the idea.

I mean in his interview, he’s licking his own backside and blowing steam so high he’s basically orbiting earth.

But every single one of us here has agreed with some of the proposal but been unanimous in agreeing that the power grab was a joke.

All he’s suggested there is good proposals but you can’t just have 6 Teams running the show.

I like the fans being given a voice even if it’s a token gesture.

Easy to knock him, but well balanced group (not sure why they’d need Burnham mind) and would be significantly better than the red titheads from over the park running it.

The idea the game somehow needs to be completely reconfigured from top to bottom is utterly bogus imo.

The EFL needs to sort its own house out, via salary caps and stricter FFP rules in the Championship.

The COVID crisis being conflated with a supposed urgent need for change throughout, is merely the seed planted by the US owners of the RS & the Mancs, neither of whom have invested a penny in their clubs and were both merely seeking to profiteer off the back of a pandemic. Classy.

Burnham is an excellent communicator, who has shown he’s willing to stand up for people. I’m pleased he’s on that team, and hope they can make a difference.

Doesn’t hurt that he’s an Evertonian, either.

Saw today that they reckon the rs could get as much as 125millon a game for each of those 8 games for World wide ppv.. that's the real reason behind all of this. And 6 votes needed out of 9 so no one could change it.. "top 6" would get close to 1billion a season from TV revenue and would totally and utterly destroy every other club.

Probably they waited to hear the feedback then tried to take the moral high ground by saying "ok ok, we understand the majority are against this and we don't wish to cause any arguments, we will also reject the idea". Both clubs should be forced into a public apology and have 15 points docked.
