Not about Koeman and the golf course we didn't. we need a hard working manager and we have one, let's see what happens. We only learnt that subsequently
He's binning him, effectively.
Maybe seeing Baines leapfrog him will persuade him to go and have a a go at another club as a manager?Again, I'm no fan of the FSW but I believe he's not afraid of binning people off. We're in desperate need of a disciplinarian to sort out our squad. Duncan seems to be hindrance and if he goes it might be a good thing.
Its a very sad thing to say but this is trueI bet there’s plenty of our fans that will be livid if he does well.
Yes, he was on the golf course a lot, but nevertheless he was supposed to be this no-nonsense manager, who would happily cut through what he didnt like. None of that occured, obviously. Not about Koeman and the golf course we didn't. we need a hard working manager and we have one, let's see what happens.
I think with these footballers you have to lead by example, koeman just wasn't arsed and always had one eye on the Barcelona job(oh how we laughed). If Benitez is really the first in and last out that set6s a hard working example and the players will respect and respond too it. If you aren't there and always playing golf, the players will toss it off as well.Yes, he was on the golf course a lot, but nevertheless he was supposed to be this no-nonsense manager, who would happily cut through what he didnt like. It appeals to me after having two lazy unmotivated men like Koeman and Ancelotti as manager to have a driven man in the dugout.
If he's given a chance, and the players respond, we stand a fair chance with him in charge. He'll have to do it in months though. That's the biggest issue.
Good article by Greg O'Keeffe yesterday in the Athletic.
Aways on the training ground, never switches off from improving the team and....“He’s the fastest at adapting to things during a game that I’ve ever seen,” says one football insider. “Rafael reads games like no other. He will always back his starting game plan and system but when it gets to the point it’s just not working he is decisive enough to change and will have plans B, C and D ready too.”
How we've missed someone who can do that from the dugout.
Defo.Better than waiting for the 60th minute changes……you could set your watch by Moyes use of subs….
I do feel this is the bigger issue rather than the timing of the substitutions .I'm all for 60 minutes changes, too, but who are we bringing on exactly?
Well there's, er, Davvo.I'm all for 60 minutes changes, too, but who are we bringing on exactly?
