Valencia don't have anywhere near the reputation of Liverpool. Neither do Napoli. Liverpool, even when Souness was working his magic, were still one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

I don't care what that bell thinks. When you think of the massive clubs, Liverpool are right up there. In England it would be RS and Man Utd, for Italy Juventus and AC Milan, Spain Real and Barca, etc.

Not at that time. They were the tier below the elite until Benitez arrived. @Debunkology above has explained why.
Hell, when Benitez arrived, Gerrard and Owen were in the process of jumping ship, Chelsea were poaching their talisman and they were powerless to stop it until bullets arrived in the post.

He's better tactically, but his man management skills seem to be appalling.
I also think Moyes is better at building squads and scouting players. Rafael did alright at Newcastle, but nothing that outstanding. Moyes on a budget did amazing work for us.

I would be very surprised in RaFail Beneathus will get us any higher than that when next years points are taken into consideration.
