Carlo is the type of manager you want if you are an established top 3 side and want to push on and win the league.

Rafael is the type of manager you want if you are a top 10 side building a project who need to get in to Europe.

Yeah the way he took Newcastle to the very heights of English football was a joy to behold.

Doesn't seem like any of them have wanted him for 7-8 years despite being the best in the world at building top 10 clubs.

His last 2 jobs were a relegation threatened Newcastle and some random Chinese club. I wouldn't say the Top 10 clubs who need to get into Europe wanted him as there are loads of those and nobody but us was daft or desperate enough to give him a job.

Not sure...Pep has not done much after Barca, where he was helped by a team in their prime, which was built by Frank Rijkaard. Anyone will win with Bayern & Man City. At Bayern he was not successful. He is still unable to win CL with ManCity and lost the best opportunity 2 months ago against Chelsea, everyone where shocked by the absence of Fernandinho, which was a major factor in their loss. And still PEP gets 200mn every year to spend on 2-3 players, Inspite of wasting millions on players he is unable to dictate in Europe.

I have to say, I don't like the bloke particularly but Luckily that isn't how you judge a manager. Alex Fergusson was a horrible piece of work but he did alright. Carlo was a man I would of asked to be god father to my children I loved the man but he did diddly squat for us as a club. Benny could well be the man to shake up the team and the cloob, change some apathy into bite. He also comes across well in interviews if I'm honest... . I wish him the very best for Evertons and our sake.

Why would any Geordie know for a fact that Benitez was approached by Napoli twice?

Napoli approached me for the job too. See dead easy to make up lies nobody can disprove.

Not really. It was a set of generic phrases mumbled by a washed up old man. He obviously can't inspire himself, how can he inspire players? He knows he won't get significant funds to improve the team and has no ability to overachieve with current players.
It will be a dull, sad and hopefully short period of Everton history.

Cmon PEP is not as good as people make out. Barca was in their prime...
If you see the stats since XAVI HERNANDEZ departure in 2015, they have not done well in Europe..

But of course with such a huge team and expenditure, only Barca or Madrid will win, they have Messi...

Anyway atm, Barca are suffering if you see their financial status. It was a ridiculous to ditch Suarez, who came back to bite them.

Man City won the league with Mancini, Bayern was winning the league before pep and are winning after pep. But he could never succeed in Europe with these top clubs. Still he spends 50mn+ on each defender every window.

For PEP Europe is measure of success... PL & other cups are normal with that squad...

Conte does really well in the league and cups but fails in Europe.
