Have we played an actual football team yet.
We’ve struggled against the Dog n duck and the red lion this past week.
I don’t take too much notice of ore-season anyway, but it’s a bit worrying that Kean can’t raise a smile when he’s starting. God knows how miserable he’ll be when DCL comes back.
nope, is just that most ppl love to think they are better than what reality shows em.. millonarios is a good team, similar to everton in level , but with loads of time and work, hehe you could literally swap their jerseys and no 1 would notice...Have I missed something, are South American teams just all crap now?

Oh God yes.Have I missed something, are South American teams just all crap now?
Couldn't agree with you more mate. If you're heading a ball repeatedly for 90 minutes over say a 10 or 20 year period it stands to reason there's gonna be some nuero damage, just the same as a boxer being repeatedly punched in the head. I was just wondering what persentage of former players had suffered. I've heard of Jeff Astle and Jack Charlton to name a couple and there's a few more who I can't think of right now but for all the thousands of others it would be interesting to know. There was some research done and the number of ex footballers with dementia related conditions in later life were statistically higher in number than the general population. As a collective. If that makes sense.
That said, the number of suicides in ex cricketers has a similar tale. As does the number of bankruptcies amongst recently retired footballers.
It, heading, could be the cause, it could accelerate a pre condition, (covid esq?), might be anything. But focusing on heading, which has been the subject of research, and does show some neuro damage, which whilst minor in a 40 year old ex player, but can deteriorate over the next few decades, seems sensible.
Benitez is too fat to get on a high horse mate.everton is a poor side, i would bet my house against em if they were to play the colombian league, clearly they wouldnt win it at all... most ppl from england love to think they have the best teams and players.. well youve got money to BRING said players to play for english teams, your standar english player was mediocre at best, having until now recently , some kind of sucess (euro).
having said that.. only a few everton players would be starters in top colombian teams (millonarios is not 1 of those, despite having finish 2nd last tournament) ... once again , everton brings mediocre players , not too far from top colombian teams, as it was clear from the everton vs millos game (with only 2 games played in the colombian league, so the fitness thing dont cover the horrible ball game displayed by everton).
get down from your high horse, be humble. yes theres quality in EPL , but is severely concentrated in what ...5 teams (or those big six), after those... let the devil choose, the suckiness begin to be the norm, and every team is somewhat equal.
Everton literally has the best player your country has ever produced playing for it.everton is a poor side, i would bet my house against em if they were to play the colombian league, clearly they wouldnt win it at all... most ppl from england love to think they have the best teams and players.. well youve got money to BRING said players to play for english teams, your standar english player was mediocre at best, having until now recently , some kind of sucess (euro).

'They're just friendlies!!!'
Imagine if he lost them all.
Benitez is a bigger blue already than these pretenders who criticise him will ever be.This is the way it'll be with some for years; no matter what the number of games won, they'll find ways to denigrate it.
A dark cloud created by angry young men stamping their feet will follow us from week to week, dragging everything down.
What a palaver.
Well, I doubt he's hoped Everton get beat more often than them.Benitez is a bigger blue already than these pretenders who criticise him will ever be.
The ball they were heading in the 60s was a different animal.Couldn't agree with you more mate. We need a forward. Tammy Abrahams would be good for the way Benitez plays. Martial would be useful.
Full back: Max Aarons.
CMF: hopefully Gbamin stays fit and works out.
AM: if James leaves get Julian Brandt.
CB if Mina leaves: Phillips from Burnley. He wont be picked up by Liverpool and though he wasn't fantastic there he'd do us I think.
The absolute irony of this post. This is the way it'll be with some for years; no matter what the number of games won, they'll find ways to denigrate it.
