It is as meaningless as Carlos preseasons were.
Preseason sets you up for the star tof the the season. Last season we won our first 8 games.

Cease your sycophantic drivel until Raffles the Gentleman wage thief comes close to that.

Those first 8 games run as good as they were unfortunately were a fluke purple patch. Unlikely to see that happen again for a long time with this squad of players.
 

Just needs 2 or 3 first team signings by end of August and we'll be ok here.

The players seem to know what's expected of them, and that can go a long way. Look at the way Bielsa has a lot of bog standard players punching above their weight at Leeds.
 
Come on we can’t really read into friendlies and talk about 4/4 , it’s ridiculous. We can look for positives but I’ve seen us have horrendous preseasons and start well and then the opposite.

It’s absolutely reasonable to look and take positives from performances and results but treating it like we’ve started the season with four wins is nothing short of odd and let’s be honest a bit delusional.

Because they're delusional they or rather he will be coming back for.more, strap yourself in this could be a long journey.

It’s not the results that are making me hopeful, it’s the things we’re seeing in the games

Faster football, players looking forward, wing play, energy. There’s another thing we’re not having to see this pre season that I’m enjoying, but I’m not sure that’s down to Benitez

And that’s reasonable mate and also in which case the post wasn’t really addressed to you , seeing positives in the performances is as I said normal . Celebrating it as a ‘winning streak ‘ isn’t .

100% mate can only truly judge once the season starts which has been my point from day one!

Performances have improved but still too much deadweight in the squad for me:

Gomes
Iwobi
Holgate
Coleman
Soggy
Toshun

Unless the board back the bloke im still not hopeful of any realistic chance of european qualification this season.

Bring in a quality RB, RW & CM and I'll start to believe.

Not only their style of play but their fitness levels. I don’t think their is a team that works harder without the ball then Leeds. In comparison last season we at times looked like we the laziest team without the ball. If nothing else I’m hoping benetiz can instill a much better work ethic within the side. Surely that’s the very least we can expect.
