The manager will want to attain the most points...he cant affect other teams results.

If you offer the manager 88pts or 84pts at the start of the season he will choose 88pts.

Im telling you that a manager should always seek to improve on the points total season on season because thats the only thing he can affect.

If he finishes with 100pts then thats what he has achieved...if others finish higher than that then he cant affect their results.
