Are You honestly suggesting that any of them would be as an unpopular appointment as this bloke ? I genuinely don’t care about Twitter polls or online voting otherwise we’d be in the EU with Corbyn as pm.

The reality is I can’t honestly think of any more unpopular appointment than this bloke and I’m not sure you can , I’m not suggesting I wanted any of those you mentioned but come.

Yeah definitely he’s about as unpopular as nuno would have been if he’d got it , I reckon there would have been some fans talking up not going the game (true or false ) if he’s been appointed. Not saying there were loads but Do you think there would have been a couple more or less abusive songs about Nuno at United then Benitez ?

That anyone can suggest it’s a close run thing seems absolutely bizarre to me . Im Not saying it’s fair , justified or anything else but we’ve never seen this reaction to a manager appointed even someone as unpopular as allardyche didn’t have this out the gate . What grinds my gears are the immature Fat Pig Oink stuff at the one bloke who has had zero responsibility for any of it.

I totally get that some hate him, based on a comment many years ago, but judging before a ball has been kicked in anger just seems weird to me.

Personally, its an underwhelming appointment, (again), but the mess here is nothing of his doing.
