I don't recall Liverpool fans, any of them complaining about a dire style of play, do you? I don't recall anyone criticising Liverpool for being dire to watch when he was there either.
I don't recall anyone saying Bulbous Benny set them up to win the Champion's League. All I remember was everyone saying how the Kopites purposefully ignored his tactics in the second half and decided to win it instead.

well let's see how any good manager gets on, when they take over a team heading for relegation and then arent given any money to spend. he got them back up and midtable, for which the fans up there were very grateful

He was given A LOT of money to spend when they sold Wijnaldum and Sissoko for a combined £60m as a Championship club. No other Championship club had access to such resources, it was essentially a cheat code.

Yeah the team did brilliantly at home last year without supporters as well.

Definitely the supporters fault....

The problem at this club is not negativity. It's that far too many are more than happy to accept the rubbish we have been served up.
The season hasn't even started and we've got whoppers writing us off.

He brought Dietmar hamman on at half time and completely changed the set-up of the game where Kaka was taking the mick out of them.

you mean the team that was already heading for relegation then had a fire sale of all its best players, and despite this, he still brought them up first time and then stablisied them. And you use this as the stick to beat him with. What should he have been doing with this dreadful side, winniing the world cup?

Chelsea fans couldn't wait to get rid of him mate. Madrid fans too.

Newcastle and Liverpool fans wanted to keep hold of him, but personally I wouldn't want to make that a benchmark to aspire to.

You cannot possibly make a valid case for getting Newcastle United promoted being an achievement. Fair play for having a go like, but you are floundering badly here.

Dunno really. There's only one or two I've seen suggesting we will go down.

The vast majority expect a dull season of midtable boredom. I think that's fair and a realistic prediction because we are highly unlikely to get into any trouble at the bottom, but are extremely unlikely to get into the battle for european places either. The squad is basically the same as last year's lot who were slap bang midtable so I don't know why anyone would expect anything other than midtable this year.

chelsea hated his guts on sight. Madrid I think he was cleaning up after the usual Mourinho crater

yes, they were a bit made up to win it I recall. They certainly weren't expecting it as a given.
You recall? If you recall it that well why did you have to ask how often they win it.? lol

Anyway, the Chelsea fans were all so made up they were all chucking their dummies out when Lampard was given the job full time instead of him. Weren't they?

Fire sale? Have you even looked at the players that left that season etc or do you just read a comment and go with it.

Sold 2 big players. Hardly a fire sale.
