I tend to call managers by their surnames these days
I used to do the whole first name thing but then I decided to be formal
No idea why, just felt "right"
No issues with people who think otherwise. You do you
Agreed Mickey
...or Napoleon for BonaparteI heard Davey Moyes and Bobby Martinez lots of times during their reigns.
The objection to Benitez is unique for obvious reasons. People just can't let go.
That said, I've always found it cringeworthy anyway, it should just be surnames. Same with "Boris" for Johnson.
I think @Brennan was taking the mickey, Mikey. Please don't call me Mickey mate
But yeah, sometimes I think people just want to have a row and will find a way to have one regardless
I didn't...I called him Barney...after the dinosaur. But we called Carlo by his first name?
...or Napoleon for Bonaparte
Big Dunc?….at the risk of being vaulted, I always use surnames, even ’Sigurdsson’. It might be because I’m ok at spelling but I also find it cringeworthy how Koppites refer to their players.
It's going to be great. Really looking forward to it.You know they are saving it up. We could go unbeaten into October and it'll only be worse. Every win is like a can of coke getting an extra shake before the opening.
And boy they will look even more ridiculous than they have been looking coping with us getting results.
Solid performance from the team. Solid result, going quite well at the moment. Happy days.
Davey, I enjoy a bit of wummery as much as anyone. The majority of my time on the forum is spent in the 'Ale House' for that very reason. I love the antics in the 'Ale House' and over the years I've genuinely laughed out loud at some of the posts there.Mate, its the reality. Which side of the force are you on? Dark or light? Jedi or sith?
It's the GOT way.
