Evening. Just checking in and I'm pleased to see the Benitez thread remains a harmonious hotbed of discussion.

I know nothing about sports science, but this sounds reasonable to me as a layman…
I guess this is something they can actually quantify (VO2 max etc.), but wouldn’t a player need to have a record of their numbers when they are 100% fit first, in order to calculate what 85% looks like?
Good luck getting the 100% readings from this bunch of crocks!
I think pep at city and our current manager with us is valid comparison on a Number of levels . You being a fan I’m sure will focus on the money spent whilst I’ll concentrate on the 72% win rate & the 10 trophies won ,I hear if you squint its actually difficult to tell them apart .the greatest Barcelona team of all time, potentially the greatest football team of all time, lost at home to a Hercules side with Drenthe playing for them. It’s irrelevant who losses are against. City got beaten by Norwich at home the season before last, maybe they should have fired Pep.
Aye, and the quality of evidence available might not be unequivocal. Or top quality. Or even acted on by individual practitioners. Not always. Medical folk know a lot, but they dont know everything.
I think there are quite a lot of posters who actually do think Pep should be fired.the greatest Barcelona team of all time, potentially the greatest football team of all time, lost at home to a Hercules side with Drenthe playing for them. It’s irrelevant who losses are against. City got beaten by Norwich at home the season before last, maybe they should have fired Pep.
Like healing crystals and little Formby beach yoga one and that?Read a bit about Donachie, and some red flags came up. Do not quite know how to formulate it, but he seemed a bit too alternative, and was perhaps a little too busy working with gurus, shamans, witches and trolls, than to take a scientific approach to injury prevention, etc.
Bravo Sir.Ah yes, a graduate of the School of Séance. Tbf, it was an easy recruitment error.
I don't think Pep would of put two in midfield knowing that the opposing team would concentrate their play through there or at least sorted it out within 15 minutes of watching a disaster happen there . Maybe I'm wrong .the greatest Barcelona team of all time, potentially the greatest football team of all time, lost at home to a Hercules side with Drenthe playing for them. It’s irrelevant who losses are against. City got beaten by Norwich at home the season before last, maybe they should have fired Pep.
It would have been better for everyone if he was FrenchBravo Sir.
A fantastic effort. ? ?
See he is doing work behind the scenes, its what we have needed for a while, there is more to a manager then the 90 minutes we see onthe pitch. My respect for him has risen with news around the changes to the Medical department. We are in desperate need of ruthless decision making, and that is one thing Rafael can bring. I'm sick of mediocrity.
Donachie might be a great guy, but our injury record has been horrific in recent times.
This bloke might literally sweep the rotting core out of the club that has bogged us down for the last 7 years, yet some of you want him out before he has a chance to do it because he lost a few games. Laughable.
Heres a teaser, I had to crop it as they were both naked from the waist down.Ah, can’t wait for my nightmare to come true when we play Villa and I see Benitez and Gerrard on the sideline
