I think pep at city and our current manager with us is valid comparison on a Number of levels . You being a fan I’m sure will focus on the money spent whilst I’ll concentrate on the 72% win rate & the 10 trophies won ,I hear if you squint its actually difficult to tell them apart .

Seems like he has been backed by Moshiri to make changes and he's starting with the medical department. He wouldn't have been appointed manager otherwise. I believe Moshiri is determined to see this appointment through after spending around 500 million and getting this squad. We all loathe to lose money and be treated like a fool. Losing a few games or a minority group of people shouting loudly from their keyboards is not changing that. Expecting to see more changes all over the club soon.

Well done Benitez. About time we had someone who has the balls to make changes that have been needed for several years. The medical team have been a massive problem for a number of years as seen by our absolutely appalling injury and fitness records which have continually effected chances of moving forward. Hope the clear out continues at all levels because man is it needed.

Or is it like hey... I barely gave the guy any transfer money. I'm not gonna give him any money. You know what's a cheap sense of security and power for him, let him sack the docs and hire new ones. It's easier than signing players for 60 mil you're going to be stuck with for 4 years after we fire Benitez next January..

I hear Rondon has flown to play for Venezuela? Hope he avoids injury and returns fully fit and ready to start a new era at Everton.

Will be interesting to see if Mina and Delph stay fit under Benitez. If they do it could be the start of a change in our fortunes. It might mean a higher chance of Allan staying fit and Doucoure staying fit once he’s back, same with DCL. We’re a different team with our best players all playing regularly.

To be as positive as I can, going through the back room staff like a wrecking ball is probably one of the things that really needed to happen.

It should have been down to the DoF, but at this moment, I hope Brands is another to fall in Benitez's reign of terror. Joking apart, Benitez is probably an ideal character for a DoF role.

Great start, awful performances with weakened squad. Going to be a long old season. I was going to give him to December before calling for his head if things were going wrong, I don't see any reason to change my approach.

I'd be amazed if Delph stays fit, or stays interested to be honest. He feels like an avatar of everything wrong of the last 5 years to me mate.
