He is idolised by their fans. He didn't stay in Liverpool due to the Everton fans who nearly all despised him until 6 months ago, he stayed because of the way the Liverpool fans are towards him.
His close friend, Balague said in February that he would love to return to them.
He has made comments about how his heart is with liverpool and he loves the club.
But you think he doesn't give a **** about them?
I'll agree he is being very professional about it, but to say he doesn't care about them is very disingenuous.

Everton fans quoting NSNO, we've been in the bottom 4 more times in Premier league history then the top 4, this current state is nothing new and started about 2 years ago anyway.
Heck, just getting some competent ones on loan so we can see the season out would be something right now

That's not good enough at all, even with those injuries.
Complete speculation. He is a manager who has been at the top and needs time to build his squad. Everything else is emotion.

So in one post you say 11th is the rest of the squads level but now you say we are lucky to be on 11th. If we are lucky to be where we you say we should be then he's been underperformed.

Who knows but I'll be shockedif we get anything against City - the point is we've been lower in the table under Carlo Ancelotti with this squad of players, we've been in the bottom 3 under Koeman & Silva with this squad of players.
It should not come as a surprise to anyone with this squad but some still seem to have expectations that we should be smashing teams left, right and centre with jokers like Davies, Iwobi, Coleman, Keane & Holgate getting into the side.
We are crap, have been crap for many years and will continue to be crap until we have either less injuries to key players or improve our recruitment and have good quality on the bench to provide cover for our usual 2-3 injuries a week in training we seem to suffer.
So we can't expect to win many games if we haven't got all three of those starting games?
