Is Benitez getting the best of the players available to him?

Still waiting for an answer.

What I've noticed is when they cant answer, they ignore the question, make some snarky comment about something else and act as if it was never asked. Or they just ignore it entirely and move on to making condescending comments to someone else using terms like idiocy, delusional, inane etc, or tell you to bore off instead of responding. Something really triggers them when people don't support their kopite manager. Not sure why.?‍

I disagree with that.

I think we could have done more with what we had available in the West Ham, Watford, and Wolves games. There were two draws to United and Tottenham around those with the same players available so clearly the players have some ability, the manager just didn't get it out of them on those days we lost.

I'd suggest he's not from a defensive standpoint. We need to see more defensive performances like the last one because we've conceded far too many.

Well in his defence he's only just got here

With the Starting XI we've looked okay for the most part. Not especially good, but comfortably mid-table

Not exciting and not where we want the club to be, but FFP has hampered who we can sign and we still have a bunch of players on the books that we want rid of

This is going to be a slow, miserable slog for a season or two, but so long as he keeps us water tight then we'll hopefully be in a better shape for whoever is due to take over the reins when it's time for him to go

This is not an exciting time to be an Evertonian, but hopefully there are sunnier days ahead

11th is around the rests level minus Digne/Gray and at times Allan.

Ultimately we are 11th - we were 5th/6th when our best players were fit.

They are the only facts people need to concern themselves with - everyone knows the situation with our squad its if you choose to accept it or continue to fight it with agendas and mental gymnastics.

We'll be lucky to be 11th - no one is disputing that certainly not me. But fans can choose to keep blaming the manager for that but the reality is you lose DCL, Doucoure, Richarlison & Mina and replace them with players like Toshun/Rondon, Davies, Iwobi & Holgate and you become a bottom half side I dont understand how hard that is to accept.

Guardiola couldn't do anything with those players yet people want us to waste yet more money sacking yet another manager just so we can keep hoping.

So Benitez is getting the most of the players available.

The players available are capable and good enough for 11th place. (And actually 3 of them are better than that)

So, they should be beating any teams that are below them in the table because benitez is getting the best from them and they are good enough for 11th, so they won't be getting battered by teams in 16th and 17th place.

Seems like Mina has now become Nesta, Doucoure is Lampard, DCL is Drogba etc
