Benitez is a Champions League, La Liga, Europa League, FA Cup & Copa Italia winning manager.

Anyone claiming he is a bad manager doesn't know their arse from their elbow tbh.

Alladyce could only dream of a CV like that although I doth my cap to Big Sam for a solid job that he did here - was treated awfully by Moshiri & the fanbase.

The biggest villain in this clubs history, our current chairman is the "worlds biggest Evertonian".

I judge people by their actions at the club mate not by what colour their underpants are.
Good job we don't judge them on the size of them . I jest.
All he has done is won a few easy games and got a tune out of two players who were on the scrapheap . That is a bit endearing but that's all undone by recent form , sticking with players with reputations of being physical but run less than Rafael himself does .
Add that to his failing at set pieces and his tactics even Silva would of found baffling , things don't look good . History will place him in the folder that holds Mike Walkers CV .

Alladyce did a better job here than Ancelotti - is he a better manager than King Carlo?
So you can't answer my question then? Mourinho had a higher win percentage, finished 2nd, won the europa league, community shield and league Cup.

Allardyce had a better finish position because the league was crap that season. He got 49 points. Carlo got 59. Finishing 8th or 10th is irrelevant anyway. It still doesn't get us Europe or win anything. But carlo did the better job.

He had DCL to call on? Oh, that was fortunate for him.

He also had Rooney, Baines, Jagielka, Gueye and a still functioniong Sigurdsson.

In the bin.
Absolute lol’ing at this. Yeah the DCL that was championship standard back then

With the exception of Gueye alll those were past it

And the team I showed got a point at West Brom; yet the team we fielded against Watford was a lot stronger and got rolled 5-2, at home

But if he is so good, surely he should be able to coach these players. If allardyce could manage it with worse players, and is worse than him, surely it's within his capabilities. Especially after 6 months with them.

It's just the same arguments you used about Silva by the way when you were having a go at fans making excuses for him.

It's remarkable how far you are willing to take your defence of him when it hasn't matched your previous beliefs. In a way I'm impressed you are still going with it and I applaud you for that.
Truth is he WAS a good manager so WAS Mourinhio. Managers pass their sell by date I fear that's the case with Benitez

But again until someone can name a better manager who can take this group of players and turn them into a top 7 club all the talk of sacking him and wasting another £12+ million in paying him off is ludicrous and would certainly see us break the PL's FFP rules and be subject to a fine / points deduction.

In short - people need to grow up, drop the persistent agenda and accept the season as a write off as the rational fans did the moment the board gave the manager no money to spend followed by an injury crisis to our best players.
