Rafael was unbeaten in the Champions league. In all probability he would have won the champions league with them and finished 2nd. Exactly what Zidane achieved.

It's like someone going in to your work, stopping you half way through a job that you are working on and then Criticising you for not finishing that job.

While I've got plenty of respect for Benitez, you're just wrong here. Zidane is an elite level manager.

By what measure is Zidane an elite manager? He has only ever manged Real Madrid, and had a team of galacticos. Christ I could have managed that team to win trophies.

Benitez expected Ramos and Ronaldo and the other divas to work hard on the training ground. It was the power struggle that got him sacked.

I wouldn't want Zidane here.

He got sacked at Madrid as he did a terrible job and got found out.
