In theory letting one manager control our budget and squad building isn't a bad one given the scatter gun spending of the last few years. The fear is we will be lumbered with a squad of average to dross players with PL "experience" (more like Begovic, Townsend)with the odd good one(Gray). A bit like I don't know Newcastle.

This is 100% what will happen, then a new man comes in and the cycle continues then it won't be 27 minutes it will be 54 minute walk out

The streak of losing on the other hand, is. Its shocking how we can be this bad for this long and still not be bottom three. The PL isnt what it used to be, thats for sure.

It's garbage. And we have people acting as if going 9th is an achievement. Other than the top 5/6, the league is pathetic. 8 games without a win, in the first 15 games and still 8 points clear.

Not improving on last year will be an abject failure with the state of it.

Nah just digne and James he’s chasing off , presume he’ll work through the rest of the semi talented list as quick as he can get to them !

I’ve no idea what’s happened with digne , he’s certainly not played to his potential for a while. Unfortunately given the managers reputation for falling out with people its not a huge leap to see him being an issue . If the player is in the wrong , like aubameyang at Arsenal , then I’m happy for the club to tell us . In reality at this moment it looks like he can’t handle certain players or questions and as a result we are losing out.

I’d say an out of form Digne is still better than us playing Godfrey, Delph or Kenny there.

The point is, he doesn't know wether Benitez has a valid reason to do that to Digne. So I don't get how he can be critical when it's just his opinion that Digne doesn't deserve his treatment. His opinion is based on nothing other than his feelings towards Benitez.
