We are in a now in a no win situation.

Can't blame the manager given the squad and investment he has had.

Can't defend the manager either for losing every week and leaking goals.

Between COVID and Everton I'm starting to wonder if I actually died sometime in late 2019 and am now in some sort of minimum security form of eternal damnation. I've generally been a good sort but never really a believer. Never thought I'd live to see FSW in charge of us.....maybe I didn't.

The problem is you are largely comparing him to Ancelotti/last season when we wont get anyone as good as him in.

Prior to Ancelotti we had Koeman & Silva who both had us in the bottom 3. I cant see anything but more of the same regardless of who comes in until our finances improve allowing us to throw a big budget at a high calibre of manager.

Both those managers also had us in the top 8 in their first seasons.

An average run of results would've seen us EASILY in and around the Europa League positions.
