Bottom line is a lot of people never even gave him a chance because of who he previously managed.
I believe in giving someone a fair opportunity and thought as a club the fanbase did too.
I've been sadly disappointed to find this isn't the case and if it has done nothing else it has opened my eyes to the actual moral standards people hold. I certainly won't hold up Evertonians as some example of great support in the future, i support Everton but a bond has certainly been broke with me in respect of if not the fanbase at least the majority of supporters on here.
That's not the fault of Benitez, it's about fairness and giving someone a chance. This his face doesn't fit and name calling has all the characteristics of bullying that has scarred so many lives that i find it abhorrent and sad that so many find such happiness in it.
He's had the worst results in over 20 years and is still in the job. He's had more time and patience than any other manager under Moshiri. I don't really get your point.
Hardly anyone thought it was a smart appointment, but unfortunately the fans have been proved correct with very poor results.

The point is people wanted him out before his first game and are now using onfield results to excuse their hatred.
The point was perfectly clear. I can't be bothered to engage with people on this issue, their minds were made up a long time ago, I just think its pathetic.
….I actually think the fan base has been very tolerant. They we’re fantastic on Monday & yesterday was the first time I’ve heard any laudable dissent from them towards the manager despite dreadful set of results & very questionable tactics.
I made up my mind when he dropped our best and only left back and took Richy off for Rondon. Lost 7 out of 9 this is relegation form the board has to act now.The point is people wanted him out before his first game and are now using onfield results to excuse their hatred.

These are hard business decisions being taken rationally on performance. The point is people wanted him out before his first game and are now using onfield results to excuse their hatred.

Don’t follow your logic. The owner’s previous ad hoc appointments are why we’re in this mess. Rafael’s appointment is the latest in a line of ad hoc appointments but this time it’s okay because Rafael has convinced him he has a long term plan?I suspect it was an ad hoc solution. So yes, agree. But unlike the owners, I think Benitez has a comprehensive and systematic plan, and he has convinced the owners (Mosh) that this is the best long-term plan. It is also a good reminder that Benitez's players, who were really only meant to fill up the squad, have accounted for 45 percent of our goals this season.
Denise is still here , although she is meant to be looking for alternative employment if the rumours are true.Has he gone yet?

Yes the matchgoing support has been tolerant, on here not so much unfortunately.
