The fans KNEW he was wrong, many much more informed and learned about football than Moshiri obviously is, is their opinion invalid because they called it right but may have used some derogatory words?

Name calling, well I'm a bit meh on it, he is overweight, so am I, I don't get offended by people calling me fat as it is a FACT! I am FAT!!

Every single one of the last 4 managers sacked was rightfully dismissed and will have had no cause for complaint.

If Moshiri cannot pick a manager then why should the fans be held accountable for that ?

I’m old & the Evertonians I know are nothing like the generalisation you portray. They feel passionate about their club, they dread the thought of relegation and they don’t want an obnoxious man managing the team, especially one who is seemingly Inept from a coaching perspective.

Fans have been very tolerant of Benitez.

In hindsight both Koeman and Silva should have been given more time based on the fact both were let down by Walsh/Brands respectively.

Losing Lukaku and not replacing him killed Koeman

Losing Gana/Zouma and not replacing either killed Silva

Who knows had Benitez been given £70-100 million this summer to bolster the side maybe he wouldn't be on such a poor run?

We'll never know...

That's not the fault of Benitez, it's about fairness and giving someone a chance. This his face doesn't fit and name calling has all the characteristics of bullying that has scarred so many lives that i find it abhorrent and sad that so many find such happiness in it.

I was about to write something in the same vein, but decided not to.
In my opinion, the excessive use of the word 'rat' & 'pig' is a especially problematic. It's dehumanizing. He's reduced to being just vermin, only good to be exterminated.

That’s on Silva and Koeman being poor managers for not finding ways to replace key players - Moyes found a way with Arteta, Lescott and others. He played entire seasons with Cahill/Beckford up front and got results.

They were relegation certs going into lockdown. Pretty much still the same players.

Bowen joined in January as the pandemic started, then Soucek, Dawson, Coufal, Benrahma, Zouma all joined after that, as well as Lingard on loan and Johnson being promoted to the first team. More than half their first team is different from the one that almost went down.

He will never change the way he plays which is why he has been run out of every decent club he has ever managed.

That’s business. He’s being paid 8m a year to be on the hot seat. And he’s failing in an unbelievably bad manner.
