Get through the next few games and we have a decent run -

Burnley
Newcastle

Brighton
Norwich
Villa
Newcastle
Leeds
Southampton

We can pick up quite a few points here which should see us comfortable, couple that with us bringing some new players in and having DCL fit.
Do you not hear yourself? Get through the next few games? We beat Chelsea(1W1L) and Leicester(1W1D) last season, but we accept crap now yea? Leicester are worse than last year too and we need to 'get through' it.
Our relegation rivals highlighted! Great stuff. So how many points(assuming you expect losses v Che and Lei) from that 'decent' run would you accept as a good job by RB? This DCL talk is tiresome btw, all clubs have injuries and I'm not convinced we should waste any money on RB players... he has alienated a perfectly good FB in Digne because he doesn't like attacking FBs(in 2021)
The guy is a glorified Pulis and battling Burnley/Norwich/Newcastle(for now) is our level under him

Your probably right.. probably shows what’s wrong with today’s game where fans would rather let there dislike of a person come before wether or not that person would make there club and team better... heart over head me thinks.

Heart over head is those fans travelling all the way down to London and back on a wet winter Sunday for the opportunity to pay through the nose to watch a terrible football team.

And if you believe heart over head to be exclusive to "today's game" then you don't know your history.

Every player makes mistakes. Every game features a lack of concentration in moments. They don't always get punished with a goal but it happens a lot.

But we currently seem to be set up with no intent to take the game into the opponents half and do anything more than hope to snatch something on the counter. Our defense currently knows that one single mistake will likely lead to the winning goal for the opposition. That can't be a good thing to have on your mind.
Not to mntion the fact that our ability to defend set pieces has fallen off a cliff since under Carlo despite having the same players. Yet another thing that coaches have worked on while Benitez stayed frozen in 2005

Who says we're going to lose against Chelsea and Leicester. We beat Arsenal and drew against Spurs and Utd.

Digne has been poor for over a season now. Even fans of other clubs say the same.

I would expect a good chunk of those matches to be wins.

DCL scored 3 goals before getting injured. Its clear that losing our best striker is affecting us.

As much as I think he got it wrong yesterday I still don’t think we should sack him. The players need to learn that they can’t just down tools and get what they want. We have been through to many managers with these players and it’s the same old story. We need to start flushing out the bad eggs, get a few new players inn and move forward. Things will get better.

it’s common sense wel lose when your manager is fat and crap. guessing you won’t post on here when he’s sacked lol

Arsenal were poor, united were so poor that they sacked their manager and spurs had just hired a new manager.

To be fair here, we haven't looked convincing since Norwich.

You said 'if we can get through' the next couple, so you inferred it. Your argument was it'll be grand when we have a decent run.
2 of those were pens so lets be realistic, for Dom's sake.
'a good chunk'? What's that? How many points do you expect from those games? It matters because we are well into the 2nd half of the season then and how many points we have v relegation rivals(not European rivals btw) will matter a lot
What would it take for you to say RB is not doing a good job? I'm curious because I had a cut off point when I decided he is not worth getting any more of a chance...2 man midfield against the most creative midfield in Europe did it for me...since then not impressed either, last night was an utter shambles. What would it take for you?

You talking about yourself in the 3rd person now?

Bottom line is a lot of people never even gave him a chance because of who he previously managed.

I believe in giving someone a fair opportunity and thought as a club the fanbase did too.

I've been sadly disappointed to find this isn't the case and if it has done nothing else it has opened my eyes to the actual moral standards people hold. I certainly won't hold up Evertonians as some example of great support in the future, i support Everton but a bond has certainly been broke with me in respect of if not the fanbase at least the majority of supporters on here.

That's not the fault of Benitez, it's about fairness and giving someone a chance. This his face doesn't fit and name calling has all the characteristics of bullying that has scarred so many lives that i find it abhorrent and sad that so many find such happiness in it.

Oh behave.
