It is very quiet when you consider all the other things, including court cases that end up in the media

I’m not suggesting it’s the cause of the issues but it hasn’t helped and is total radio silence from all but a few pieces in the Icelandic media I think
I just find it odd. Not addressed by Benitez and no statements anywhere. Talksport haven’t even commented.

I doubt they can terminate his contract without a conviction. If there is that they will likely have a code of conduct breach and can terminate it
It depends, he's got what, 6 months left on his contract? so thats all the club can be on the hook for financially. There is no legal requirement for an employer to await the outcome of any criminal proceedings before taking any disciplinary action, including dismissal.

So yes they can terminate without a conviction.

In that case - and I know he won't - but I would walk away from this poison chalice of a club. It's currently rotten to its core and despite my unadulterated love for it I can seldom recall things as bad as they are now and I have supported them since the mid-late 1960's.
The only thing I can put down to this shameful reaction from the low life's amongst our fan base is...it's all the fault of the RS being on our doorstep and being consistently successful - aside from one or two seasons here or there - whilst we seem to consistently tread treacle. We can't even aspire to Top 6 never mind Top 4 and have just become a mediocre shadow of our former selves.
'Clueless' doesn't even begin to scratch the surface.
Some blue you are, calling fellow fans low life's. It takes a low life, to know a low life buddy.

Prince Andrew would be pleased to get the media ban afforded to Gylfi I expect. It’s as if Sigurdsson has done something so truly shocking that it has to be completely off limits

I've admitted when I thought he made mistakes. I thought he would go with a 3 man midfield against Liverpool for example.

Personally I don't think we have the team capable of playing a 4231 tactic and think we need to revert to his Newcastle tactic of 541 with wing backs.

Against Palace. I thought we doing OK until we switched to a 4141 and thought that wouldn't end well.

I don't think he's invincible, but at the same time, individual mistakes have cost us quite a lot this season. The main culprit seems to be Coleman, as soon as we can replace him the better. Holgate and Delph are dog [Poor language removed] too.

If we can get in a destroyer to sit in front of our defence, a replacement for Coleman and another winger, it will improve us considerably.

Or he could do his job and stop making players do things they can't.

He's playing a two man central midfield constantly and we're getting mullered for it. It's why he doesn't want the fullbacks going forward (leaves huge gaps in midfield as a midfielder goes to cover).

The feller is clueless. But he keeps doing it.

He had Gomes as a number 10/Support striker last night ffs

That suprises me to be honest because an accusation can come from anywhere, innocent until proven guilty and all that. If you mean they can terminate with a pay out then yes of course. Do you mean terminate without compensation or with? Just for clarity

In some very serious cases, yes you can terminate without compensation, prior to conviction

Child sex offences for example.......

This is because the employer is not held to an absolute standard of proof when making its decision to terminate; it is only required to act reasonably.

Get through the next few games and we have a decent run -

Burnley
Newcastle
Brighton
Norwich
Villa
Newcastle
Leeds
Southampton

We can pick up quite a few points here which should see us comfortable, couple that with us bringing some new players in and having DCL fit.

What on God's green earth makes you think we can win ANY of those games?
