Don’t get it.

How can we play Arsenal, United and Chelsea and show heart and fight which is what we’re desperate for.

Yet we play Palace, Brentford and Watford and we just can’t get up for it?

Why he’s not played the kids sooner, I’ll never know.

1 is luck (Arsenal and Chelsea had clear chances)

2 they're more attacking and prone to conceding.

Play teams we're supposed to attack against, we leave ourselves open. Carlo discovered that pretty quick.

Then there's the baffling decisions Rafael makes.

Why do you think they played for their manager? Maybe they played for themselves as they want to play football?

They may have played for the manager but you are assuming it.
They did something that so many of our "senior pros" refuse to: play for the shirt - with the very same manager. The senior pros are being exposed with every passing week...

Lucked out massively

Forced into changes and threw the young kids to the slaughter in a game he had no expectations of getting a result

Imagine being Simms, crying out to play for months then getting your first start in an injury ravaged team away to the European champions

him and Dobbin were, in different ways, better than Rondon has been at any point in his Everton career to date

Hopefully he's learned a lesson that he can give the kids a chance.

Maybe if he doesn't wait until there's 10 injuries and 1 win in 11 to give a few some minutes fans will cut him some slack.
absolutely! 2 made the goal tonight that would likely not be playing had we no injuries... gotta show them there's a potential route into the first team or we'll lose them. Successful night all round
