He was playing his first choice team at the beginning of the season and the football would have made your eyes bleed. For your information I did not call for Howard’s removal, but, he had showed in his first season what his objectives were... joined up football and playing on the front foot. He was also a young progressive coach and a Blues legend as a player. Everything Benitez is not.

It’s hardly worth discussing anything with you, you have your messiah in Benitez and nothing I can say will change that.

Now that may or may not be true, the fact of the matter is I don’t know you so I don’t know what you think. The same thing applies to you, you are always deciding you know what other people have thought or done and from which demographic they come. It would be quite easy, judging from some of your posts, to assume that you are actually a Red on the wind up. I don’t assume that, because I don’t know you. Se how it works?
To be fair I will try to answer a few of your replies to what I said..
Benitez has not fielded his strongest team yet even at start of season because DCL has never been available to him.. before you begin with one player does’nt make that big difference look across the park when they lost Van Djike and do you think they would be the same without Salah... a team far far weaker will feel it much worse also other injuries have disrupted his tactics and team play.

Benitez is not a Messiah but what he is could be a blessing in disguise.. I have faith in him stopping the rot that’s been there last thirty years.. firstly getting shut of the past four or five managers dead wood then bringing in better quality players than what’s already here.. why do I think that.. because he has history of doing it with Valencia and across the park.. he has also managed some of biggest clubs in the world in Madrid.. Inter and Chelsea you can’t say the man has no pedigree..

Your quite right you don’t know me and I don’t know you and I could be a red as much as you could be.. surely what matters is what gets posted and if it’s fair and sensible..
I think giving a manager a chance and then judging is both.. five months and no money spent is absolutely ludicrous to use to get shut of a manager even if he had a full team to pick from that was’nt his own.

Yes he was.

Why would they chant his name at this stage?

I dont recall many chanting Silva/Koemans names either tbh.
Then how do you know 95% are still behind him if noone has been cheering him?

That's like saying 100% of fans are behind moshiri as noones been booing him.

The most evidence we have that fans in the ground are turning against him are the large portions of our away fans who have been videod chanting to sack him etc.

Credibility taking an early hit here. Will do well to recover from this.

Still waiting for an answer to my previous question I've asked you twice now. (I get when you are wrong, posters tend to just ignore things that challenge them, but it questions your credibility).

But a few things. DCL was available. Scored 3 times, however 2 from penalties rather than tactical play. You use VVD as an example. If you are talking about last season, it's already been discussed multiple times that they actually had a significant number of injuries. Let's not rehash that.

He has managed at some of the biggest clubs in the world. How did they work out for him? How long did he last at them? What do their fans think of him?

He has made some good signings previously, amongst hordes of rubbish signings. He has also spent vast amounts of money to do so.

Most want him sacked because he has led us to our worst run in decades. You mention the rot of the last 30 years. His run is worse worse any in that time. He has stopped the rot.

Did you watch us at the beginning of the season? DCL mot only played, he scored 3 goals.

Perhaps I'm paranoid, but I do find it odd how there's a handful of members who have registered since the appointment of Benitez, who post exclusively about Benitez.

You'd think Everton forum - why wouldn't new members talk about the biggest topic on an Everton forum but trust me - I've been running forums for a while now - longer than I care to admit and there does seem to be some odd behaviour with regards to Benitez. I've only seen it once before when Everton were linked with Tosun (we had accounts definitely trying to influence fan comments during that transfer and only after I publicly highlighted it did it stop).

They always seem to have an IP in Liverpool, (a fair few have been the same postcode but not a multi), always as generic name as you can possibly think of and they always use the same email address (albeit, it is fairly popular). These new accounts post pretty prolifically for new accounts and exclusively about Benitez.

I mean, @Legend78 - sorry to pick on you mate and it could be a complete coincidence and you're just the unlucky one who I've just noticed. You registered last month - you have 100+ posts and without checking extensively, they all seem to be about Benitez. The only other thread I noted your involvement was defending the sale of James Rodriguez - again, playing into Benitez . Nothing else? Can you pipe down my paranoia and privately send me a Twitter account or ANYTHING that would show you have been an Evertonian before November 2021? Anything under the same name as your email address?
That’s o.k I don’t mind you singling me out.. not at all.. what I would like to know tho is a couple of things.. is the forum just for Evertonians.. fans from other clubs not welcome.. have any of my posts been offensive or have I not followed forum rules in some way, am I not allowed to talk about the topic which I feel is most debatable this being the Manager of the Football Club..

Like I say not bothered in the least about you picking me out but let’s be honest here.. the reason you have picked me out is because it’s obvious some posters have complained about my backing of Benitez and because they are so twisted with hatred and anger of an ex red taking over there club.

Just one last thing.. have you ever thought bowing to these sort of fans and the attitude is one of the many reason why the club has drifted and remained trophyless for so many years.. Benitez came in to alter all that and it’s these fans who are hindering him and most likely complaining to you about me..
