There is no 'earning' about it, his employer has given him instructions to, the employer being the owner or majority share holder

If you are going to get shitty about 'earning the right ' to do something you should direct your anger to the right place

Give the Fat Man stick on where he is accountable - results!
That's why he should go

Hope we stick with him - the constant hiring snd firing of managers is s huge part of the current mess the clubs in.

Give him the January and summer window to at least try get a team put together which can actually play the way he wants too.
Worst case scenario is after that a new guy comes in with at least a more coherent team and with a lot of the baggage gone from prior managers.

Who knows we may by the have a team.suited to a system rather than one like now put together by about four managers with completely different player types.

We sack him this season then sure as certain the next manager will be in the same squad mess very soon but without the experience and drive/ego to be able to push his will onto things enough to make the neccesary changes which I believe Benetez is doing now and will continue doing.

Seriously?! lol
That's exactly the point... my original point; 5 people out the door, 5 wins... so he should not have the right to rip the club up because he hasn't earned it through his main function, which is, as you say, delivering results. He can't point to anything in his recent past either so I was asking those who hold him in high esteem what is it that warrants this level of support from his employer, his employer being the owner or majority shareholder ;)

To be fair I will try to answer a few of your replies to what I said..
Benitez has not fielded his strongest team yet even at start of season because DCL has never been available to him.. before you begin with one player does’nt make that big difference look across the park when they lost Van Djike and do you think they would be the same without Salah... a team far far weaker will feel it much worse also other injuries have disrupted his tactics and team play.

Benitez is not a Messiah but what he is could be a blessing in disguise.. I have faith in him stopping the rot that’s been there last thirty years.. firstly getting shut of the past four or five managers dead wood then bringing in better quality players than what’s already here.. why do I think that.. because he has history of doing it with Valencia and across the park.. he has also managed some of biggest clubs in the world in Madrid.. Inter and Chelsea you can’t say the man has no pedigree..

Your quite right you don’t know me and I don’t know you and I could be a red as much as you could be.. surely what matters is what gets posted and if it’s fair and sensible..
I think giving a manager a chance and then judging is both.. five months and no money spent is absolutely ludicrous to use to get shut of a manager even if he had a full team to pick from that was’nt his own.
Scored 3 in 3 while playing with a broken toe so that’s a lie

he should of been sacked already. he hasn’t so he must turn things around.if he doesn’t and the form carry’s on as it is (defeats)

he’s a gonner

Agreed.
This is pretty much my stance too. Not specifically with Benitez, but with ANY manager who is appointed. Any manager should be given a chance to build his own team.
The Kopite shouts are just ridiculous and childish BTW.
Obviously I understand the calls for sacking a manager after a poor run of results, but we just can't keep hiring and firing.
Every successful manager has gone through periods of poor results at one time or another.
Is Benitez capable of building us into a successful team? I don't know . . . but then neither does anybody else.
I remember Catterick being attacked, I remember the "Kendall out" shouts.
Benitez has been in charge for just 6 Months FFS. He should be given at least next full season to see if he can turn this basket case of a club around.
