Hes shown he cant manage a football team. Totally clueless manager.

The only thing up for debate at this ppint is whether he can sign quality players.

In 2022 and 2023 if the sole strategy is to move players on and replace with high potential u23s then it makes perfect sense. We sign those players and also develop from within at a relatively low cost.

The FFP by 2024 would be in the positive in terms of both fees and wages and the squad will be more experienced. At that point we can obliterate FFP again with 3 top class signings to take the team up another level.

Its just a numbers game. We need to have as many top players as possible in a 23 man squad.

Nobody is forcing people, you in particular to keep having the boring circular discussion though are they.

You’ve posted over 500 times in this thread in the month of December even though we’ve barely played any matches and the transfer window is closed. Why?

Seriously though, who was the last manager the general fan base actually liked for his ability to manage the team, we have fans of a decent age who have never actually seen a manager who we all genuinely love and have a connection with.

Because people keep defending him with the same (ridiculous) arguments. It’s a thread on Benitez ffs it’s hardly unexpected that people are going to debate him here. What else would you expect !

Most, not all, as I doubt any club ever has all their fans behind a manager, but most were behind moyes. And he connected with most of us. Or it certainly felt that way when I was at the match etc.

Yes there is a couple of you about. Not willing to give a chance because of previous connections. That is the main reason. Results have been [Poor language removed] but mitigating circumstances are very strong hence the reason to see it through and see how he does without restrictions.
