Yes there is a couple of you about. Not willing to give a chance because of previous connections. That is the main reason. Results have been [Poor language removed] but mitigating circumstances are very strong hence the reason to see it through and see how he does without restrictions.
This nonsense again. Brighton will come to Goodison have 65%+ possession while we run around making tackles, they will play around 200 more passes then we will but we will win the running around stats. Watford hockeyed us, the rs hockeyed us, we are 15th playing a disgusting brand of ball but ya the only reason he is hated is because of his connection to them.

I don’t have a problem at all with that my friend.. you can’t go on a forum and like every poster.. it’s not how it works.. I also think some posters on here are full nobs too... what I do is either offer an alternative view point if I don’t agree with there post or simply ignore it and move to next post.. what I don’t do is get myself worked up, keep asking who they support or call for bannings etc.. that’s just silly..

If we all keep to forum rules and respect each other views then it’s all good...

My reasons are based solely on his recent managerial capabilities, he is done as a football manager and even in his prime he wasn't that good. I don't want him near this club or spending a penny of our clubs money because he WILL be sacked soon not because he's an ex Liverpool manager but because he doesn't get results and he is guiding this club in the wrong direction.

His style of football is woeful
His recent record as a manager is woeful
His attitude is woeful
His substitutions or lack of them are woeful
He has shown absolutely nothing since being here

The fella doesn't understand the modern game. Are you seriously happy with the performances under him; the way we set up to surrender possession in the hope that we'll produce another six minutes of madness? Are you OK with someone that clearly has personality issues and ostracises all around him? We are quite obviously going backwards under him and the real danger is if it continues we will be in a relegation fight. Would you want to risk that and with a manager who at least some of our senior players seem to not be happy with and that the fans are not happy with?

Seriously lads and lasses, if knobend78 offends you that much just put him on ignore, he will soon get bored of posting.

As for Beavis and Butthead (aka Dave and Foreverblue) their sole existence here is to try and be edgy and wind up Evertonians. Both absolutely clueless and just trying to provoke anger. Don’t fall for it, just remind them occasionally how pathetic and transparent they are.

Looks like we are stuck with Benitez for the season, unless we fall into the bottom 3 at any point, which if we do, then I’m sure Moshiri will pull the plug like he did with Koeman in his second season.

Phhhht What manager would get something out of this lot (well not lot, just some). No money to spend. Yes results are poor and I think we can all recognise that. I don't give 2 hoots about Dignes ego I am all for a manager being the gaffer even if it upsets some fans that a favourite player is being awkward.
Like I keep repeating myself 'Time' is what is needed to get rid of previous managers crap, spend some money on his own players then and only then will I pass judgement. After January I will put my judges wig on and make my personal decision if we are moving forward.....if he has all the injury problems and a few additions behind him. No point in bringing another manager in as Benitez compo package will affect FFP and put us in the same boat with a new manager who has to accept he has no money to spend.

Which is what the sensible posters have been trying to tell you for months yet have been accused as being "wind ups" "edgy" by the bedsheet bandits.

Try "realists".

The fact is we all agreed Ancelotti underperformed; so if this guy finishes well below 10th with arguably a better squad (always available Gray/Townsend vs never available Rodriguez and stat padder Gylfi) then he’s just not very good and we’re in fact going backwards, right?
