It doesn't matter what I support - it is the reality.

Anyone believing Benitez is getting handed money and spending it and then not given time to see how these players perform are completely deluding themselves.

They can scream about a sacking all they want but it isn't happening.
I agree it ain't happening, but it absolutely should.

That's going too far, throw Richarlison, Mina and Townsend in and we would have won today...BUT Benitez is making himself a problem by falling out with players and being solely in control of who he signs to replace them. Fine if you are winning but he is further widening the gap between those who tolerate and those who hate him and want him out. That gap is now a gulf and he has little or no chance of turning it around, so he may as well go tonight. Anything else is a stay of execution.

Would we? That's a lot of optimism.

As much as I think Rafael is past it, I really cannot see a better option at present. We need to wait til the end of the year and see who we can get in the managerial shuffle. I can see Tuchel being available and while I don’t think he would take it, he might be persuaded if we show him all the deadwood that is leaving.

This club needs a manager who is beserk on the touch line to fire these weak minded players up and we need a manager who has the balls to tell the board the truth. RB seems to have one of those qualities but not both
Really? This is the worst run in many decades and you think there is no one better than him. We were in the running for a European spot last season...5th at this time of the season

The primary issue of me is where are the signs of improvement in things that have been a problem throughout like defensive organization and defending at set pieces?

Those were meant to be some of his areas of strength as a manager and he’e now had months to coach the players.

He’s had some time to prepare for this match and the best he could do was play 5 at the back and we still concede 3 goals?!

….spot on. He sets his team up to not concede, yet we almost always concede the first goal & then have to chase the game.

As you suggest, I thought he’d at least be a top coach who’d have the team regimented to defend set pieces and organised ahead of that but we look a shambles.

I was trying to think of when we played without a single left-footed outfield player. I might be mistaken but I don’t think we had one today.

Whats not true about that statement?

DCL puts that away its 3-3.
It’s the 3 goals conceded that concerns me.

The cause of which was due to poor tactics, wrong formation and poor coaching - can’t you see that?

And don’t throw this all on the players. Average defenders can and should be well drilled and organised and should not concede 3 goals at home
to another mid table team
