Regardless of all else the problem is sooner or later he will get the shove for all the reasons we already know - tactically dated, terrible man manager, divisive influence, cannot be accepted by a large part of the fan base etc.

He (or anyone else) is not going to achieve anything meaningful for 2 or 3 years at least but there is no way he gets this time period to rebuild with the inevitable disappointments associated with a rebuild.

So the only logical thing is to punt him now to give the new man both a full half season and crucially the coming run of fixtures. Allowing us to miss the points available in this sequence and then punt puts us immeasurably worse off.

It is not going to work, don't waste any more games or it could get serious if Newcastle buy well and Burnley do their annual thing.

He is a predictable (every post match interview you know exactly what half-hearted ill-thought through defensive claptrap he is going to spew) , stubborn (I’d rather have Lucas Digne in the team than this geezer in the dugout - same with Xavi Alonso at RS, JT at Chavski etc.- he always alienates top players then stubbornly forces em out for his own benefit not the teams or the football clubs benefit) totally useless (look what he is doing to EFC!) and divisive (fans are almost at civil war over this idiot) wage thief (how much are EFC paying this has-been and for what precisely?)

The sooner he minces off out of Goodison the better for the football club. Perhaps RS will give him a job as their kit-man so he won’t have to sell up.
I think his pay off will cover him nicely but I'd rather we paid that than have him spend money on a pile of yes men... Kenny praised him in the press, Digne did not = Coleman at left wing back....I'm sick of him... every single week there is something that makes me like him less, and make me less impressed with the job he's doing

Two up with his Watford team for us to come back and win 3-2.
We then get him as manager, and the "Once Everton touches you" curse strikesl

No guarentee of that. Theres a bigger picture with potter anyway. I watched them at chelsea during the week. Brighton and Everton both managed to get a point at stamford bridge. But thats where the similarity ends. The contrast in the performances and the attitude of both teams are chalk and cheese. We had i think 19% possession and 4 shots. Brighton had 53% possession and 14 shots.
The whole thing about potter is his potential on a bigger stage.
Something by the way i never saw in marco silva. Im not sure where he comes into it.

I can understand people being disappointed and pissed off. That part I get.

The part I dont get is after every defeat the posts rammed with "he's got to go now" and "That's the end for him after that".

How do people think that when we know this owner is 100% behind Benitez and he's allowing him to reconfigure the club behind the scenes and now spend tens of millions of his cash?

I dont get it. It's wasted energy.

If we're not in decent shape by the end of the season I'd say we need to rethink the manager situation. But there'll be no change of manager between now and then, and it'd be highly irresponsible if the manager situation did change. One false move and we really could be looking at spiralling to the bottom of the league.

Keep your heads. New players will be coming in and players like Calvert-Lewin will be back up to speed and we'll get our good results again.
One win in twelve is relegation form

The fact Moshiri is behind him tells you all you need to know. The man hasn't a clue about football and has ruined the club.

I thought you were well aware of the incompetence of the owner?

lol lol lol lol

Heard it all now...not arsed about Liverpool failing in the title race again.

Unreal.
Dave, we shouldn't be hailing a season achievement for another team to not win the fn league whilst we toil in some of the worst form this club has seen in decades. "Hey, we got relegated but that's ok because Liverpool didn't win the league"? Come on.
