He's safe until he loses at Norwich.......

The problem is the fanbase are letting their hearts rule their head - look at the situation for what it is:

1. We are 8 points clear of the bottom 3 spots

2. Half the season remains to be played

3. The club have just spent near £30 millions on two players Benitez wants

4. The club are actively seeking to sell one of our better players who Benitez doesn't want to fund said signings

5. We have no DOF so any new manager would be appointed by Moshiri meaning an oot of work PL experienced dosser.

6. Sacking Benitez/his staff this season will cost circa £10-£15 million which would likely mean we break FFP and get sanctioned.

Taking into account the above only a fantasist would suggest Moshiri will be sacking Benitez anytime soon.

Imo - he'll go in only 2 scenarios:

1. When our PL status is in jeopardy i.e. being in the bottom 3 spots

Or

2. His contract is nearly over so a pay off won't hit the clubs coffers that hard i.e middle of next season or when it expires.

Get rid before he starts falling out with any more players especially the better ones after what he said about them yesterday. Never accepts any blame on himself.
These better players who have seen off 5 managers and are happy to finish mid table each year. Punt the lot I say.

I found it strange that people couldn't understand why Ancellotti wanted a CB.

I was obliterated about 3 summers ago when i said our priority should be a centre back...lol

Im very impressed with these 2 full back moves...and amazed with Gray.

Keen so see who/what else happens this window

This form is worrying, I know plenty of outsiders are saying we are "too big to go down" ..... but I think, in reality any of us that have watched the utter dross we get served up on gamedays at the moment know all too well that it is definitely a possibility, Rafael does not know what he's up to, no settled XI, no settled formation, cant keep the ball out of our net and can't score enough.

anyone coming in if we ever sack Rafael has a HUGE job on their hands. there is so many players that just aren't good enough and those that are have totally lost their way.

I've heard a few say relegation would do us good, allow us to rebuild and clear out...however, I'd rather not.

For now. But we still have to play all of them.

2. Half the season remains to be played
Why is there an assumption that things improve for us, but not other clubs?

3. The club have just spent near £30 millions on two players Benitez wants
Players we tracked and bid for under Brands.

4. The club are actively seeking to sell one of our better players who Benitez doesn't want to fund said signings
To the detriment of our results.

5. We have no DOF so any new manager would be appointed by Moshiri meaning an oot of work PL experienced dosser.
So basically Benitez
6. Sacking Benitez/his staff this season will cost circa £10-£15 million which would likely mean we break FFP and get sanctioned.
Relegation will cost much more.
Taking into account the above only a fantasist would suggest Moshiri will be sacking Benitez anytime soon.

One thing Benitez has done is make Allardyce go up in my estimation.

My despise for this man deep into my soul.
Ditto mate. Allardyce in charge of Everton was a real low point for me but i would gladly swap for him in a heartbeat. This dinosaur has brought in whole new levels of shame and embarrassment. Never been more apathetic towards my club than i am now and there is no end to it in sight. All i got to look forward to is a relegation battle which we lose with this manager and players.
