Its preposterous. Our squad is much too good for how we are playing. We need new players, yes, but this is not a relegation quality squad at all.

It is not a relegation quality squad, and it won’t be. But we have had an injury crisis up there with the worst. We have a squad unable to cope well with our best players out for long periods, which is what we have seen.

Benitez is not blameless, far from it.

Hoddle called that sequence of play out in his analysis, Keane was on the back post and inexplicably drifted towards the centre of the 6 yard box leaving that space free.
I have trouble believing that is down to anything other than a brain fart from Keane.

Yes Carlo is a better manager that's not up for debate.
We aren't getting another Carlo so we resort back to the form before him.

This type of form isn't new to us. It's why we have had 6 managers in as many years (almost).
We can carry on sacking managers every year or stick with one.

If it means we will get the right one , sure . This one isn't right in anyway. Tactics , man management , coaching , PR . He's a disaster . At any other club , he would be sacked but Mosh and RB are both stubborn gits .

Which may be the case - but if Benitez goes I can't see any other situation than Moshiri going cap in hand to Nuno or giving it to Lampard who took Chelsea into mid table spending £250 million in the process and failed to get Derby promoted.

Hi mate, Unfortunately not, but I know of him and who it is. He’s a really good blue and nice family lad. DaveK’s constant berating of him is bang out of order. Either like what he does, or ignore what he does, it’s simple really. There is absolutely no need for the constant slanging of him when in reality, he would and never has publicly gone at people like DaveK does. He’s just a match going blue like the rest of us.

Clough couldn't get Peter or the Leeds players to work with him . Clough liked to play " the beautiful game " while those borderline thugs just liked to crunch people .
He couldn't get past Revie's cult of personality .
His team's played like Brazil compared to the useless dinosaur we have now . Clough also was given a lot shorter time than our defensive manager who can't defend .

Stop making out like our worst form in 30 years is par for the course. It obviously isn't or it wouldn't be the worst form for 30 bleeding years now would it?

They all did. Even Sam got a decent budget in January.

It'd be different if he was doing everything right but we just didn't have the personnel.

The fact is, the only reason he still has a job is because Moshiri is an absolute idiot who thought he knew better than the supporters and gleefully put two fingers up to them and decided to hire a man everybody else involved with the club knew would be an utter disaster.

He went out on a limb, backed him by sacking everyone Benitez claimed was the real problem, and now that it still hasn't worked out he can't pull the trigger without admitting to himself and the club that he doesn't have the first clue in how to run this football club.

We're being managed on the back of two massive egos that can't admit their mistakes.

Yes then the season after spent £250 million and took Chelsea into 9th/10th before being booted.

Tuchel then takes over said side and makes them Champions of Europe in the same season and has them 2nd in the table currently.

Hence why im not bothered if Benitez stays or goes as his next successor mid season will be a dosser who'll be sacked themselves within 12-18 months and the merry go round continues.

You can see our form over the last months has been bottom of the table stuff, we are in a completely false position due to the reasonable start to the season.

Not sure if a pair of juvenile full backs are going to turn his fortunes around to that extent, I’m sure you’ll agree.

With that knowledge we are more than likely to be bottom 3 within 6 games, no?

So Why the continued support for this man ?

Be even if he was told go to the back post and move more central once the ball is played (unlikely as that is), a seasoned professional who’s played for England must surely see the danger in doing that and and think he should hold in that scenario? There’s no manager in the world can mitigate a player making a decision like that. It was crazy & inexplicable of Keane.

What you on about, carlo was a terrible manager, the form before him was better then anything we had post Moyes, last thing we want is "another carlo" 12th and 10th under him, pathetic.

How much budget should Benitez need to stop a team that easily finished in the top half from flirting with the relegation places and giving us our worst form for 30 years?

This squad is far better than what he has got out of them. Moaning about his transfer budget is a moot point in that discussion.
