So what if we are joint top 4 games in. We did that for the first time in 30 years last year and now its all of a sudden bog standard nothing special.

Pfffttt

Gets 3 points in our next 3 games and he has passed Carlos start.

What then lads? What will you move onto.
Ditch the bedsheets and move onto laminated signs outside his neighbours house?

I knew when I made my choice this was a possibility.
It is what it is.
I admire the stance and I agree that having him here is one of the worst things ever, in a football sense, for me but i still need to go the game etc. belonging to something is a powerful driver for all of us in life, I need that "family" around me whenever I can and I dont get to as many games these days but when I do I will celebrate with my "family" whoever they are but still cant bring myself to be happy that he is our manager!

UTFT, they will be here long after he isnt!

Like I said earlier, I ain't gonna have a go at folk who wanna still go get that fix that only a match can give. I understand 100%. Everton have been a massive chunk of my life and will continue to be until my last breath but I ain't going while there's one of them in the dugout. He ain't my manager, never will be.

Until then I will live with my decision.

Hes a manc legend more than anything. He scored against us and kissed that crap badge. Coming here for his last big payday in the PL doesnt make him any more of an Everton legend that Etoo.

I understand people not being sentimental to him for returning, I do take issue with people going on about kissing the badge though. He was like 20 or something, he duly toned it down anytime he scored against us afterwards.

Or we could have been ruined by Peter Johnson?

I'm a tribal football fan, from the club that is Everton and its been in my family for generations, it was expected for me to take up the baton and I did it with relish but the only time I have ever felt so much anger that I lost all sense of rationale was with Johnson, I protested with others, I even wrote an impassioned letter to the club pleading that he be dismissed as my old Grandad would be turning in his grave at what was going on in those dark days, so did Kenwright in some respects save us from that? yes it has to be said he did, has he got it wrong since, yes many times but what could have been with Johnson at the helm doesn't bear a second thought.

We have lurched from one disaster to another on and off the pitch and I'm not sure we are out of the woods yet, off and on pitch, but I'm not sure all the blame can be laid at Bill?
Johnson: we won a trophy; we saw the ground improved; we saw investment in the team (for a period). He was a disaster in the end because he heaped debt on the club and wanted out. The sale of the club to better prospects to take us forward was the issue, and that was down to the failure of the Moores family to step up and the desperation of Kenwright to gain control even though he didn't have the wherewithal - all he had was the backing of the local media and a promise to any outside takeover to make life seriously uncomfortable for them...no wonder a better buyer wan't found.

Too be fair to him as well he was getting a load of abuse hurled at him in that game before he kissed the badge. One of those 'if you can't take it then don't give it out' times and we that day were well and truly giving it to him.

He did it twice, mate. One after scoring against us and once after getting a yellow for wreckless play. He did it to be a PoS because thats what he is.

He was getting absolute pelters but still you know it was pretty crappy from a boyhood blue who claims he was forced out of the club and whose close family was regularly amongst those fans home & away .

I do agree he deffo toned it down as time passed.
