I mean, it's still only been 5 months like..

I'm not the guy's biggest fan myself like and I know we've largely been crap so far, but he's barely been here long enough to get his feet under the table.

I said at the beginning that, barring an absolute disaster of genuine relegation proportions, then he should be given the season. We aren't getting relegated.
It is arrogant to dismiss relegation when our form since October has us 20th in the league. We got bummed all over the place by palace and Brighton, 2 of the most impotent teams in the league.

Our next fixtures are all against the "struggling sides". If we don't pick up the points we need in those games, I suggest you look at our run-in to the end of the season and tell me we aren't getting relegated.

Come on guys. 500 to 40 were happy 2 months ago. We gotta show character as blues and stick with convictions. When your marriage hits the rocks you do what it takes to get on track for your woman. You stay loyal. Things are tough. Our team of high paid unsellable lion hearts have been progressively getting worse. Added to not having a penny to spend in his first window. Then the Injuries.

Need a few transfer windows and see what he can do. Let's all be rational and not reactive.

I love all you guys.
Don't jump off this cliff again, mate. ?

The best thing is to put manager, squad, backroom staff and board / owner into a 35yd skip and possibly torch. Latter depends on the most recent result. Liquidate the club, start again as MK Everton (or similar) with a new stadium well out of the city with Graham Potter in charge.

*looks to the sky wistfully*

But here we are.
Great idea LC. And move the stadium to Dublin Dock here in Ireland. As Wimbledon was going to do when they got financialed.

You have my sympathy there mate.
Thanks Dave, it's not that bad actually, he plays some decent tunes but it's his swansong that's beginning to get to me! Singing along to my old town by Springsteen. Anyway Dave, back on topic, how do you honestly see this season panning out with Benitez?

Being positive and accepting the reality of situations seems to now be an intolerable position on here. Get in step with the BOBA’s party line or else.

would be awesome. No issues with work permits for European players and all. And the complete lack of taxation in Ireland would tempt the greedy prem player even more.
Cwoar, we accidentally have a plan for the future of the club. You two can be on the board of Dublin Everton FC.

Would you keep Benitez, save him from the big blue skip of doom?

Morning all. I'm new to the forum (Rangers supporter with a long held affinity for Everton). It seems there's a fair amount of negativity towards Benitez, is this due to his general performance as a manager or because he's an ex-manager of the other Merseyside team? This is a genuine question, I've not paid a great deal of attention to his career and I know that this situation would be unlikely to happen in Glasgow.

A few reasons mate but the main reason is that he's absolutely crap and had his best days about 15 years ago.

Leave the kettle mate, it might blow up again!

Solid win for the blues against Hull and hopefully a couple more players in and deadwood out and things might feel a bit better. ?
