The fan reaction will be great as we record a win.
Thing is, Dave, you predict a win (usually a very substantial win) before every game. Law of averages says that every now and then you'll get one right and after that happens we all know you'll be lording it up in here telling everyone how much of a genius both you and Benitez are. It's all a bit unseemly.

I take it you didn’t see Caragher’s interview the other day where he said Benitez thrives on conflict and was constantly falling out with players. He also said by the by, that his football was so bad to watch it had to produce results to be tolerated. You can talk till you are blue in the face, it is impossible to sensibly defend Benitez’ position as Everton manager.

I don’t believe he could manage anywhere successfully any more, but, he most certainly cannot manage successfully here. Conflict, excuses and crap football are what he will continue to serve up here. Oh, and the results aren’t too clever either are they?

As I always say…..

Fans will accept boring football if it is winning foorball.

They will tolerate, for a while, losing football if it is entertaining football.

But they will never accept boring, bad, losing football.

And that is what we have right now.

Still 192 (23.2%) say ‘IN’.

Just going to remind you that we’re 15th in the league, playing some of the worst football we’ve experienced & have lost 50% of our games so far.
How many of those are kopite multis?

It's telling that there are more votes against Benitez than Moshiri and Moshiri has a 90% disapproval rating.

The kopites don't like Moshiri giving us money but are loving watching Benitez drag us down. That's the difference in votes explained enough for me.

tbf he did predict a loss before Chelsea and actually went as far to say he hoped we lost the game.

But you know, we're the bad fans for wanting this disgusting sack of a manager out of our club

That's some actual evidence.

Carlo got blamed for the players not being motivated so why isn't Rafael if we do still have an attitude problem?

It's just another way to download the responsibility and accountability for our crap performances onto the players.
First and foremost time. We gradually got worse under Ancelotti, and apart from a handful of matches, football was as terrible as it is now. Secondly, unlike Ancelotti, Benitez has shown that he will confront the problems and will try to solve the challenges the club faces.

At last what we've been calling for is happening: the utter cowards in that dressing room being held to account for their unprofessionalism, but because it's Benitez doing it the people who want him out have suddenly conveniently 'forgotten' that demand.

We have a strong manager here. If the owner remains committed to him then we can rout the piss taking culture at this club...playing staff have walked away from Everton with £10M-£20M in their pockets for producing f.a. on the pitch.

All power to a man who wants that to end on his watch.

Who is holding Benitez to account?

1 win since September.
