The fact that the whole country will get to see just how bad we really are tomorrow, will hopefully be the catalyst for his removal.
I don't see it. I hate to say it, but @davek, @Saint Domingo and @ForeverBlue92 are right about one thing, Moshiri would rather see Benitez relegate us than sack him it seems. Where I disagree with the above gentleman is that drifting into an acquired helplessness and shrugging my shoulders about our decline is not for me.

I think the rest of the season will be significantly better than it has been.
Based on what? Has Rafael been lulling the other 19 cloobs into a false sense of security just long enough for us to go full peak Barca from January onwards and take the league by surprise as per some masterplan? We've barely been able to string two passes together all season, still can't defend corners, the players look terrified of the ball, you can feel the defeat before the kickoff, no one seems to know what the tactical plan is or if there even is one, and most of the players look to have gone backwards since last season.

I hope you're right but I just don't buy the idea that as soon as injury-prone Mina can be bothered to play or England's backup No9 gets on the pitch everything will magically be peachy when there is zero evidence to say there's been a hint of improvement anywhere all season.

In my experience as a season ticket holder the feeling on here generally mirrors that at the ground and as I said he's already having chants against him and boos at the ground as well as pretty widespread shouts from individuals for him to be sacked and calling him a kopite this and a fat spanish that. I don't know why tuesday would be any different to any other game as a test in that regard except as i say if we've lost to Hull it's pretty sure to be cranked up a notch.
Tuesday certainly will be interesting , but if there is real animosity against the manager the reaction should possibly depend on the result alone.

By that I mean if Everton win or maybe even draw that manager and team get a clap and that only a loss would unleash the boos as it did against Brighton.
