Why concede so early again?
Surely even a League Two side can manage the occasional 0-0 after 15 minutes...

This IS an issue.

We have a squad full of players unwilling to impose themselves on a game and only react.

That needs to end. It's seasons long as a problem though.

But the defence is in a shambles. How many times do we have to concede inside the first 10 minutes before things change? We can't keep going on having to play catch-up all the time. We're allowing too many goals.

Gomes played at the level he’s capable of for about 20 minutes. He just couldn’t be arsed to the rest of the game. Benitez is trying to get more players in the team like Gray Gordon Townsend who retain their levels for far longer in game. The desire of the rest of the squad is a joke though. We saw Tosun come on and his first touch is just a lazy pass straight to a Hull player. Kenny with that corwardly jump out of a tackle. The squad is a shambles and some fans are desperate to get rid of the bloke trying to dismantle it.

Of course he does. We knew that already. Why should that stop him kicking out others with an ego?

A manager with an ego is a problem and maybe the players him kicking out don't have an attitude problem or an ego? Digne, all his time he's been with us he's been professional in everything he's done, interacts with the fans, has never said a bad word against anyone, Benitez comes in and all of a sudden Digne's a snake etc, have you ever considered that maybe Benitez is the problem.

Doing a cracking job of dismantling it - Rodriguez is the only player he's shifted and he shifted himself as soon as Ancelotti left.

Disastrous at setting up a defensive back line. Thought that was his bread and butter. All season has relied on individuals producing wonder goals. Tactically inept, and sluggish to change it on the pitch.

...WTF are some people supporting this team for if they come out with utter tripe like that when we win a game and book our place for round 4?

Have some people been that bent out of shape by Benitez being appointed that they've become alienated form an Everton away win in the FA Cup?

Horerendous. I actually feel a bit sorry you if you do feel that way.

I'm very pleased we won and so are the majority of blues. How have you become so detatched from main stream Evertonians that you'd not feel like the rest of us?
